You're going to try and make meth just because you have some pills with psuedoephedrine in them? lol, good luck. The only time I'd bother trying that is when I had dextroamphetamine pills. I do. I've thought about it. Extract the amphetamine out of these pills, react the d-amphetamine with a halomethane for n-alkylation. I mean that's when it would be really easy. What you're talking about requires like equipment and chemicals of all sorts and a lot of saftey procedures should be followed. Now I just need some chloromethane....
you going to try to make meth just because you have dextroamphetamine pills, and you're looking to get chloromethane? lol, good luck. might as well try to synth the reagent, which requires an all glass setup with plenty of ventilation, nothing ghetto-rigged (or you'll likely do yourself in)
I was't actually doing it, I was just saying if I were to, because it's a lot easier then from ephedrine pills ands things of the like. Sheesh
What you have there is more than likely a 12-hour decongestant. Yeah, you COULD extract the pseudoephedrine from them, but the 30 mg pseudoephedrine pills (Red Hots, as I call them) are much better as you don't have to do very much pill preparation with them. A few cold 2-propanone (aka acetone) washes will remove the red color from the pills, and this is absolutely necessary unless you want pink meth... As for your 12-hour decongestant pills, you will have to do quite a bit of preparation in order to remove the dexbrompheniramine from the pills. I suggest researching dexbrompheniramine's solubility in different solutes (water, alcohols, ketones, aldehydes, etc.) because you MUST remove it.
