I'm going to my sisters wedding in Estees Park, Colorado at the end of June. It will be about a 5/6 day trip. I'll have about 3 days to go wherever I want, and I'll probably stay a day or two in boulder.

What should I see and do? Anyone want to meet for a doobie ;)
But in all seriousness, I hear boulder is a very nice place to visit, and I'd really like to see whats up.

    peace !

I'm headed there for a visit in 3 days. I used to live in Boulder back in the day. You should definitely take a walk down Pearl St. in Boulder. You also might enjoy going up to Nederland (Ned), it's a pretty cool area. I think you just go straight up Canyon, from Boulder.

I live in boulder, and yeah pearl street is pretty cool. Lots of striving musicians hang around their and try to sell their cd's or play guitar for money. There's cool music stores and restaurants and even a pipe shop. Some people were selling didgeridoos there one time also. There's a new mall on 29th street and arapahoe too if you want to look at that. The hill is where a lot of people hang around for parties and stuff, and theres live shows at the Fox theatre a lot. The hill is right next to the university of colorado campus, west side of it at the top of the hill haha. Parties are around in the houses behind it. Also lots of cool coffee shops and stuff to check out, with art displayed and live music sometimes.

Thanks for the advice Hamfoot! I'll definately check Pearl Street out and this "hill", I won't be there for too long, but I want to make the most out of the trip.

Yep, I lived in Boulder for quite awhile, and Pearl St. was the best. All of Boulder was pretty hip, actually, and I greatly enjoyed my time there. The Hill was fun too, it's near the University, so a lot of CU students hang out there (at least they did when I lived there).

The place that you are going is one of the most beautiful places in Colorado. I would recommend maybe a day trip or two, Boulder, Red Rocks, Denver but Estes Park is a great place for a vacation!!
