Well truly, they say the black man created the blues, which created rock n roll. Europe and white americans ripped off the black man blues, there for all good music period is credited to the black americans. And if americans didnt bring black slaves over we would never have rock n roll. Thank you america.
America didn't bring slaves over originally, twas Europeans Plus you are making a distinction between blacks and Americans, we are all Americans Plus old country is good, and its origins are in Celtic Folk
What about Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Fear, the Germs, the Cramps, Cadillac Tramps, Misfits, Manic Hispanic, JFA, Circle Jerks, Bad Brains...I personally dont consider them to be lame.. Hey, I like Rush to..for a long time
i don't know about that. a lot of americans listen to shit. so most of the good music that does come about in the USA isn't really promoted and never gets out there. if you really want, i could point you in the direction of some trully amazing stuff. only if you want, though!
I like stalk, too. It reminds me of plants and it reminds of the mars volta (awesome band from US) their song televators "Stalk the ground... Stalk the ground..."
