VT Regional 08

Looking for family that would like to help out with Regional in VT 08.Please leave message with contact info and i will get in touch with you.And i need to know if any Gatherings going on in Aug.Don't want to step on any ones toes.I am asking family for help.And if they are already working on it i would like to be part of it with seed camp and welcome home camp-Clean up-I have a small group of kids that helped out with TC Memorial in 06.They want to help out(Diging Shitters)And moving family into hIPPY lAND.-pEACE AND LOVE TO ALL-Jody's Camp and Co

 

There's the Blueberry gathering, but that's pretty much a Katuah thing, I wouldn't worry too much about interfereing up in VT. Last year there was a Blue Ridge gathering in VA in August, and I've heard a bit of a buzz about another this year, but I don't know if it will be August again.

hey i'm new to vermont and would love to find out more about lending a hand in a gathering. where abouts will this happen and when abouts?

 

NERF is talking about a 20th anniversary gathering around Granville VT about the 25th of July to the 3rd of August.

 

are u serius? was that 20 years? that was by far the best gathering ever, ive really been hoping the national would go back there the last few years

ok everyone a friend of mine told me about this gathering about a week ago i have been searching for some info on these rainbow gatherings i live up here in maine and cant travel as far as i would like but then i found this thred about this one in vt can anyone help me with how i would go about finding it and how to prepare for this thanks so much to nyone who can help

 

if you're interested in helping you should contact Jody here, he started this thread. he's great family, i know him personally. maybe through him, you could get some contact with NERF. as far as knowing where and when, just keep checking back in the Rainbow Family forum, that's how i've kept up on my info.

i'm so going to be at this VT Gathering. i don't even care if it ended up being a very small 40 person gathering, i would be seeing the loving folks i met when i first stepped into Rainbow Land. Grateful Dread is also going to be present for the VT gathering i believe. Willy hasn't really heard about it but, i DID WATCH him say that if there was to be a VT Gathering in Garnville this year, his kitchen will definately be there. i was just with him in Ocala.

VT Gathering was '90, right? so 18 yrs...lotta beer under the bridge, anyway.

 

knew it hadta be 18..cause thats where my dreads started i think and was 1st gatherin after i broke my back (didnt realize it was just a few months tho)

i've been always hopin for a gatherin that met or surpassed that gatherin as my fave

There is the NEKMF Music Festival the first week of august that brings peaceful folks from far and wide to Northern Vermont. It would be cool to have the gathering around that time and nearby.

Two years ago the festival was going on during the TC gathering in VT.Alot of people came to the gathering from that festival.Maybe the next VT gathering will be going on during the Music festival.Peace and Love--Jody

My friend, my boy and I might be able to make it up there. We missed the national, but we've heard awesome things about Vermont regionals, and the Vermont National. I spoke to someone who says he doesn't go to Nationals, but doesn't miss regionals in VT.

We would be coming from Virginia, potentially taking a train or a bus. It seems Monteplier is somewhat close. I'm figuring this is much smaller than a national, so how is hitchhiking or getting rides? Is it comparable, as in, are we likely to see Family amongst the way?

i been considering taking teatime to vt this year.it'll be hard to make it on time though.so soon after coming back from so far out west....we shall see i guess.

It looks like it might just be me and my friend, since we are both females hitchhiking is a bit more of a concern (as crappy as that is). Anyone willing to help us out with transportation to and from a station? It would be around the 26th, no later than the 28th.
