I find I'm attracted to girls who are similar to me. I'm talking about similar mental characteristics as well as likes, spirituality, ways to have fun, personality, and even some physical properties. I want to know just how much you think similarities play in building a good lasting relationship.
I think that similarities are very important to a lasting relationship. I mean on the major things such as values, intellectual interests, hobbies, lifestyle, broad strokes politics, etc. If you don't have at least some of these things in common you're gonna clash personality wise, or, which is even worse for relationships, have nothing in common and not find activities you can share together. I don't think you have to be/should be identical in your personalities. It's the differences that make things interesting. A relationship should be about complimentary souls that broaden eachothers outlook on the world by expanding from common ground. IMHO PEace
i completely agree. differences make the relationship interesting and motivating...but it's essential to share similar attitudes in order to make it last.
