Does anyone go to, or have heard of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco? i'm thinking about heading there and I'm trying to get the inside info. Anyone?
I went there for a year. I majored in Fashion Design. The school itself is great. They seem to have pretty good job placement for grads, and they just overall know their stuff. It is however extremely expensive to live in San Francisco. I had a horrible experience there, but it's mainly because i am from a small town & living in the city(especially in Cali) was way too much for me to handle. Also being surround by "artists" can be a little much sometimes. I mean I guess we all are artists of some sort, but people at Art School sometimes go a little overboard w/ the whole "artist" thing. If you think you can handle the expenses & the city life I'm sure it would be a wonderful choice for you. As I said before it really is a great school. Just happened to not be my thing. Wish i would have known that before i spent thousands of dollars there Good luck in everything! ~peace & blessings
