A full grown adult just told me that after she was born, that she didn't open her eyes for 2 weeks. She must have saw the puzzled look on my face because she then went on to explain that back then (the 1950's) baby's didn't open there eyes right away like these young wipper snappers of today.

    What is she a kitten?
    What's wrong with people?
Don't you just hate it when someone who is obviously stupid, tries to make sense of some sh*t that just don't make sense or does this just happen to me.

let's hop into the wayback machine and talk about the eye drops they would put in baby's eyes way back then. made their eyes too sensitive to light. i remember even in the late seventies there were still some doctors who would do so, and so we'd have parties hovering over the babies to see who the baby would see first when they finally opened their eyes. was considered good luck, just like being the first person to make a baby laugh.
