I was sittin' here at my comp just wastin' time when a thought came to me man. So I figured I'd post it here. Why exactly is it that mankind has always been at war with each other?? I mean we've never in all recorded history had a warless, peaceful, loving, time, not in any generation. I also find it ironic that so many people have tried to create solutions to this seeming problem. I mean on one hand you've got the Christians who say that by following Jesus we can find a Utopia eventually. (no offense meant to any Christians around here). We have the forefathers of the U.S. who thought that freedom could bring peace. We have Ghandi (one of my biggest heros btw) who thought that turning the other cheek could bring peace. We have Islam who thinks that if everyone converts from infidel to Muslim we can find peace. Needless to say the list goes on an' on but due to limited attention span an' tiredness I'll get to the point, man. No matter how we go about it all of these peaceful hopes, dreams, an' ideas lead to only one fruition. MORE WAR...... AND MORE..... AND MORE.... AND MORE... AND MORE.. It all seems to make no sense to me. Of course I could be like some of the other people in history an' try to explain away our vicious tendancies as nothing more than a primal urge built into our very gene structure but I don't believe that crock of bullshit man, not for one second. I can't begin to comprehend what brings us back again an' again to this horrid cyclone of death, destruction, genocide, an' hatred. I wish it'd all just stop an' go die somewhere. Look at the way my generation is being raised. Toddlers through young adults are screaming for more intense violence, more blood an' gore, more death in video games an' on tv. I can't stand to turn on the tube sometimes jus' cause I know what I'll see on it, man.... Something really needs to be done, an' I have no idea what. If we don't try to stop this disease now it'll eventually wind up wipin' us out.... Any ideas???
