Now I don't consider myself to be some animal rights activist, but this is just sick... http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=10d_1204204698 It's in China, of course. You know, the same nation that brutalizes its people and was given "most favored nation" status by the UN.
it's pretty innocuous, really. it's just a goat with a monkey on it's back walking a tightrope. but the poor goat broke my heart.
That sounds hilarious. I laughed my ass off for a good five minutes when I saw a monkey riding a dog in a rodeo arena on TV.
I've seen a lot worse than that. There's was a clip on TV about some guy that supposedly had a ferocious ape-man in a cage. You know, the old freak show at the circus thing. It was just a monkey in a cage. He would throw a bucket of water in its face and it would get upset and stomp up and down. Someone reported it to the authorities and put a stop to it. People will do anything for money. .
Doesn't most favored nation just mean normalized trade relations? Anyway, yeah that video was pretty unwatchably cruel.
Goats are very cautious.. and have good balance.. so my guess is that their good balance, coupled with not wanting to fall a fair ditance keeps it on the rope.
i dunno. i know what you said factors into it, but i think that stick the trainer was waving around probably had something to do with his education, though...
That didn't bother me too much accept for the fact that both of those animals could be in the wild right now living a free life. Its funny humans can't just don't ruin our own lives we have to ruin everythings life. hahaha its really pathetic. We cannot handle life, plain and simple (as a whole). I saw something yesterday that made me skip past anger to confusion and I almost teared up. There was a picture of a racoon like dog creature that was skinned alive to make "its fur better quality" and it was just holding its head head trying to figure out why it was in utter pain. Its black glossy eyes were what got me as if saying why?. Its that one question that always makes my neck hair stand up....why all of the unnecessary pain...I just don't get it. I get death but unnecessary pain is something that is hard to grasp.
Well that was certainly different, as for Casey's Cam I think she's in need of parental control Hotwater
How is this, by any means, worse than the circus in America? They still have animals in it. Is it more humane to abuse bears for entertainment than goats? Using animals for entertainment is disgusting. Go and burn the circus down.
