When I have money I usually drink Blue Moon, but if I'm broke I drink Miller Light.

Not to be mean, but you shouldn't have made this poll unless you actually knew something about beer lol. There are all kinds, and just generalizing them all as Bud or NOT bud is just plain wrong. Budweiser is an american favorite.. always has been and always will. It's inexpensive and tasty enough for most people. I don't drink it though, and I'm not even that big of a beer fan.

I drink on occasion hoegarden, or maybe blue moon which isn't as good as hoegarden, sierra nevada, magic hat (microbrews). So I guess I like belgiun beers and ales.

i've had lots of canadian beer. just like most of the common american beers, most common canadian beers are pure swill suitable only for times when you need to save money (labatt and molson...neither of these are any better than budweiser, miller, or corona)

most canadian beer sucks worse than having a three way with rodney dangerfield and rosie o'donnell. however, there are some great ones out there - just harder to find. i think that unibroue makes some of the finest beers in our continent, in fact.

similarly budweiser and miller products are pretty much shit. virtually all of them, in fact. but there are some magnificent breweries down here, too...

i could go on and on listing personal american favorites but wont.

i'll just tell you my favorite:

forêt whenever i can both find and afford it.

yeah, but once in a while if you dont drink it fast enough (or even if you do) the dairy in the baileys will curdle for whatever reason. its still drinkable this way, just gross.

i do like a car bomb made properly, but i dunno....kind of a beer purist. i prefer beer just on its own. i dont even usually like mixed beers (like black and tans and such)

blended beers are a different story though

newcastle is ok. i like it pretty well sometimes, but nowhere near amazing. there are MUCH better beers out their, from the UK and elsewhere.

hell, pretty much everything samuel smith brews is at least twice as good as newcastle.

then i'd recommend staying away from mcewan's scotch ale. stuff is seriously like drinking liquid candy.

its good, but i can't have more than one or two in a sitting.

i can't remember if i've tried terrible, but i have enjoyed every unibroue offering i've tried. i was particularly fond of the 2004 vintage release.

im pretty sure i've had terrible and liked it, but if i have i've only tried it once.

I have had a few that I liked but dont remember the names, but I know I loved both the 2006 and 2007 vintage ales. At least the Trader Joe's versions.

Um, I like nerds with beer tummies. Wait, what kind of nerd are you? Please say the kind who likes to watch documentaries about Jupiter and monkeys and read history books.
