it works for some people. replacing one addiction for a more socially and physically acceptable one. i don't necessarily see a problem with it UNLESS the people request him to stop. because it HAS worked wonderfully for a lot of peple. like a placebo effect.

 

I have no doubt it works for some people, hence the great sucess of the salvation army.

I am sure he has no clue what he is preaching about. so no, he should not be preaching to him. Also, I agree with you, there is a time and a place for everything and at that time, it was not appropriate.
