I get a 100 dollars if i can do this HELP!

My older brother is good with comptuers,
he knows how to do all thiis shiit.
He said if i hack into his myspace and prove it
he would give me a 100 bucks
help me out

 

Get a program that logs all keys pressed on the keyboard
run it on his computer
then when he's sleeping
open the program
and you'll see it.

I'm not that good at hacking, so I'm sure there are easier methods.

theres a better way - just beat the guy up till he tells you his password and username. Often breaking someones little finger helps

a key stroke logger may be the best way to go. they are sold as monitoring software at some stores, esp. spy shops.
There is also a hardware keyystroke logger that can only be detected by examing the computers hardware, it dont show upas a program (because its not.)

ok this site is free - totally legal - and ethical and presents a series of puzzles (real puzzles for you to solve) example they hint at what you need to do to reach level one and then you figure out the full story and get there - same for level 2 etc etc
Its a good game and also shows you that hacking a website like you want to is these days near impossible without social engineering

just go on his computer and use http://www.oxid.it/cain.html that program to see a list of most of hte passwords used on his computer.

One, to crack myspace and not just key log it. (because that is...not cracking)

Hackthissite and such is good for teaching to think in the correct mind set and become better at problem solving but it wont teach you to crack.

Go learn some programming. Don't take the easy way out. There is no "hack" you have to figure it out yourself.

 

What he does is neither hacking nor cracking, it is lame defacement.

Myspace has been the target by many scriptkiddies, and i'm getting really sick and tired of it, they all feel so leet because they can deface myspace..
If you want to be with the big guys, grab some skills, do some tutorials, hang around at hacker communities, get to know what it is to be a real hacker, not just someone who hacks for the sake of it.
A real hacker fights for his idealism and beliefs (unfortunaltly this is not always the case).

 

myspace is weak and the owners dont care. Remember the myspace worm that killed every myspace server running Windows? lol or the "exp.wmf" virus that infected millions of myspace users using Windows XP?

hacking or cracking myspace is lame.

 

I have to agree but if he is going to try it he is going to try it.
No point in telling him how lame it is to do it, as he is all ready determined.

We can all just give him good resources and hope that through learning he realizes that doing something like that is really lame. Dont shut him down show him the error of his way.
