Hey guys, I had been looking for hash for a while now, but it never turned up in my town, so I just bought some really good pot. But, last night, a dude called me and said he had some "BC Golden Seal" hash. I didn't know exactly what he meant, was it a certain brand of hash, or was it how the hash was made. It is really hard and black on the outside, but when heated up, it gets really soft and the inside is a golish colour. Has anyone had hash like this before?
The hash i get in Hong Kong is black, and has the same properties as you described (hard but soft when heated). So if you're wondering if its good hash, it probably is damn good stuff, but I am not familiar with most of the strains, like "BC Golden Seal", so on that note, i cant help you.
it sounds like you got some excellent shit. as to "bc golden seal" means one it was made from bc pot and for those of you not in the know bc has the best pot in north america, second golden means it's blonde hash not black hash even though the outside was black it's just from the compression when you broke it up it was blond. not too sure about the "seal" part but someone probably just tack it on to make it sound good. Blond or golden hash is made by tumbling the plants and collecting the crystals then the crystals a compressed and that's it the harder the compression the blacker the outside of the hash will be and harder it'll be to break apart if you need to heat it, it's all good. now black hash I believe in made more similarly to oil.
Sounds like some bomb shit. Have you tried... maybe... smoking it? That's usually a good indicator of whether or not it's good.
Oh yes, it is very tasty! It tastes almost like the woods. I was talking with friends the other day and they agreed that it had a pine-like scent. It also produces a wonderful body effect with no haze.
