alrighty. well this weekend we find my aunts bottle of Clonazepam. we think its valium because we've gotten a hold of diazapam or whatever and it was the generic valium so i was thinking clonazepam was as well. but im hearing otherwise though. anyways. i need all the info possible. what it is. what its used for, what it does. what it does in amounts. what it does if abused. and what are the similarities to other perscription drugs (ex. its like xanex but not, or something like that) anyways. yea just all the info possible.i took 4 and im planning on taking them maybe this weekend. oh and how long would they be detectable in drug tests
Klonopin (clonazepam) is a high-potency, long acting benzodiazepine. It is more similar in duration to Ativan (lorazepam). It is often dosed every 12 hours, sometimes every 8 hours. What mg tablets do you have? It is also used to contol epilepsy and restless leg syndrome, and it is a schedule V drug so your aunt can't get them refilled too early. I think it is really uncool to steal peoples prescriptions, but I will get off my soapbox now. It is similar to Valium or Xanax. The tablets are available in 0.5mg, 1mg, and 2mg. A typical dose would be 0.5mg every 8 to 12 hours. I have never seen more than 5mg per day prescribed, and it very rarely exceeds 2mg/day. Klonopin is probably on of the most addictive benzo's, user beware. In some people it is extremely sedating. It has a relatively long half-life, 18 to 50 hours, so it could be detected by drug test for a week or more, depending on dose. Hope that helps...
well i have the yellow tablets that have an M ingraved on one side and some numbers on the back. so im nt sure the mg but there yellow with an M. what are some of the effects i will be experiencing if i take this drug recreationally?
Yea- what photogra said......... Man, I used to eat this stuff like candy. It was one of the things I was addicted to for about 5 years. I used to get them back when they still made the 4mg pills. I'll tell you what though....its nothing to fuck around with. First of all...It is never cool to steal someones meds.....that is just wrong. Seriously. Anyway, its very similar to xanax...its a benzo...... Take it, you feel good. That's about it. But be careful. This stuff stays in your system for quite some time and it's easy to overdose yourself if you arent careful. That's if you are taking them all the time though, everyday. I had a minor stroke (very minor) because of it and went to the hospital. That was some scary shit. But that was because I wasnt careful and majorly overdosed. It's cool if you know how to be responsible. But when I was around the age of 18,19 I didnt give a fuck about being responsible. Learned the hard way.
I agree with what everyone else said. Totally uncool to steal people's meds. Your aunt may have terrible anxiety, or a sleep disorder or even absence seizures (things this med is prescribed for) if she runs out too soon, she could get really sick and that is terrible if it is your fault. I take this as I have bizzare neurology and have night terrors and sleep paralysis as well as chronic pain. It is, IMO, nothing like Xanax or even Valium, It is VERY long acting, (I only dose once every 24 hours, at .25 of a mg) and it takes a LONG time to "kick in." In fact, I wouldn't even use the word "kick." It kind of slides in, but really has little to no recreational actions. People who are not used to it often may get amnesiac (you forget what you did while you were on it) and often nauseous. It is really best used as a theraputic medication. It takes a LONG time to wear off (you will feel like you have a hang over for days if you take a lot of it) and your aunt most likely has a VERY good reason for having her prescription, and I would hate to see her be sick.
The half life is 18 to 50 hours. It completely depends on the dose, your weight, and metabolism. It is stupid for you to take these pills if you don't even know the strength. Are you sure it was clonazepam in the bottle? Could your aunt have used an old bottle to store some other pills in? You need to do some research on your own, and then ask for help when you have the basic info. How can I answer this question if you can't give me any information? Lets say you take 1mg, in 50 hours you would still have 0.5mg, in 100 hours (4 days) you would still have 0.25mg, in 150 hours (about a week) you would still have 0.125mg (still detectable), etc., etc.
this is because erowid is pretty much my basic source. and for some odd reason they do no have any information on this particular drug. "Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine and an anti-convulsant. It is generally found in .5mg, 1mg, or 2mg tablets" this is all that erowid has on this drug. i, have 4 small circular yellow tablets with the letter M etched into one side and on the other a small letter c and under the line the number 13. the date on the bottle in which it was filled was 9/10/04 and the expires at the end of next month i believe.im finding it hard to find out how many mg's are in my pills because no website gives me this information. but ive told you all i know.id take two of these so if you knew the mg's then youd know the strength of two together. basically they stay in your body a while. so would anything help speed up the process of this cleansing of its traces?
YOU need to identify the pill! Try RxList.com or call poison contol, or you can try a pharmacist, by many companies make clonazepam, and a pharmacist can't be expected to know what they all look like. I am not going to waste my time doing this research for you. Nothing will speed up the half-life of a drug. You could try beating a drug urinalysis by drinking copius amounts of water before the test, diluting any substances in your urine.
it is what we thought it was. my aunt acually confronted my cousin about her lost pills and told him what they were. so were positive it is Clonazepam
Yellow Klon is .5 mg i am prescribed them to take at night so i relx more when i sleep, because of stress i would wake up in the middle of the night with teeth grit, and grit HARD, gave me severe TMJ disorder, doctros tried lots of things they wanted to do surgery but the klonopin works perfectly for it. Veyer sedating, calming, very potent, i don't know about addicting, to me anyway, my doc took me off Ativan 1mg, because he said it was bad for me to be on them for too long, the klonopin i get now is .5mg pills (yellow), 30 in the bottle, i currently have five refills left on it, one refill a month apporx. they are fun, sometimes i use them recreationally when i don't have any other drugs i like to do, they are VERY potent though for real, 1 or 2, (.5mg- 1mg) nearly knocks you on your ass, like if you are sitting down when you stand up your gonna need somethin to steady yourself with cause you gonna fall.
