I've wanted dreads for a while now, and I've finally decided to get them. I know not to use wax, but has anyone tried that DHHQ lock accelorator?
I have it, and haven't used it yet, but I hear bad things and I'm considering not ever using it. I vote for making your own.
No, I actually haven't gotten to dreading my hair just yet, so I haven't needed it. I know there are recipe on this site SOMEWHERE, because I've seen them. I think lemon juice and something else, but I'm sorry I can't remember.
don't use the salt accelorator. it's a waste of money. and it's useless. you're better off filling a spray bottle with sea salt and warm water, and spraying that on your head, or washing your hair with sea-salt water. although if you aren't careful you end up with funny little salt crystals in your dreads. good luck man
