What kind of soap or shampoo do you like to use best? I've heard good things about the Dr.Bronner's and Knotty Boy. What else is out there?

    Hhhhmmmm...

Bronners leaves residue on my scalp. I like the knotty boy soap. Never had any problems. Not particularly cheap mind you...

Have you tried to deep cleanining concotion? The ingredients are floating around in "deep cleaning concotion post"

Have you tried Doc Bronner's bar soap?

Or have you tried Diluting it even more than already so?

When I applied it directly it on it also left residue; Now it's no problem.

All I've ever used is the soap bar.

Some people swear by bronners, and others say its left residue. It's pretty cheap, so its worth giving it a try anways I reckon :)

i use whatever natural soap bar i happen to have at the moment. i get a different one everytime. right now i have "bee and flower" sandlewood soap. i like it a lot and will probably get this one again. ive also used locally handmade soaps from the health food store, they all work fine. ive used peppermint dr bronners, and baby mild dr bronners which i can scent with my own essential oils. ive used knotty boy, thats good stuff and you can dilute it to make it last longer. and ive used pears soap which works well too.
to be honest they all worked equally well. but nothing gets my dreads cleaner than kyndmamas deep cleaning concoction. i do that every month or two in the winter. in the summer i dont even wash my dreads, i just swim in the ocean.

i like bronner's bar soap. the liquid doesn't really do it for me, but it's good to have on hand for travel and such. i also like handmade soaps from etsy, or if you have a lush store around, they have delicious soaps too.

I'm not too big on the Dr B's myself. Baking soda serves me well and is cheaper and easier to get a hold of.

Deep Cleaning Concoction FTW! (poke around the first few pages to find the official DCC thread)
