As of twenty minutes ago all charges against me have been dismissed. In 60 days I can file a motion to have my record expunged. Now I have to deal with parents that are threatening to sell my car kick me out and not help me pay for college if they test me and I'm dirty.
Yeah!!! Congratulations! Glad you got your case dismissed (whatever it was...) Too bad about your parents. Aren't you legal age now? Why would you submit to testing by your parents? I wonder what drugs THEY take, and whether you can test them too? That brings up a interesting thought... Should kids be allowed test their parents for drugs? I also think they should test their teachers and administrators too. If kids can get tested, so should everyone! Then it can be revealed that EVERYONE is on drugs, and all the anti-drug hysteria is simply hypocrisy.

you are 18, move out. if they don't like it, fuck 'em. they can't control you, and if they cast you out, you can refuse to take them in when they are old and decrepit. my parents are cool, so I feel bad for your misfortune. and Skip, I completely agree!
I agree whole heartedly Skip man. But truth be told it's not gonna happen. The society we live in is too busy stickin' it's ugly face up the kids asses to worry about the adults that are doin' the complainin'. I wish it weren't that way... but it is.
I know what their taking, Its legal is their argument. I'm likely to say fuck it. and fuck them. Thats what I'll end up doing eventually. I got busted when I was your age and they supposedly sealed my record permanently. I've never seen it show up anywhere. I learned my lesson then - never sell anything illegal. My worst brush with the law since then (1972)? One speeding ticket! And now I don't even speed anymore (too damn old to play that game!)
my dad just reiterated the fact that they will test me and if I fail they will kick me out and sell my car. Fuck that. Either I'm going to keep a dropper full of bleach on me at all times or move out and buy the car. Anyone know if a few drops of bleach will give a false negative?
I'm glad i have never ever had a single drug charge in my life... and i'd say im pretty damn open about smoking... even when i was younger and living in the same house as my parents... they finally found out when i was like 19.. i think they said they knew before hand... but they really didnt care.. anytime i got slack about it was when i was struggling to hold a job or was jobless... btw.. i dunno if it would show a false negative but they may wonder why your piss smells like bleach....
good news about the criminal stuff being sorted i realise you don't really know me, but your an adult now. it sounds like your parents are using emotional blackmail . in order to get you to change your ways. if your going to smoke a bit, why go thru the stress? you can get thru life without a car for a bit and i am sure you can come to some arrangement with school regarding fees it would probably feel better than trying to live a double life, one for your folks and one for you Good luck
The real hypocracy is talking about letting anybody drug test anybody when I'm sure your views on the Bill of Rights are more towards the left than right. Back on topic, congrats on getting the charges dropped.
