How to Produce Synthetic Cannabanoids

Is it possible that an 18 year old with a strong will to do so could synthesize his own cannabanoids?! CP-55940 and HU-210 are the two chems that interest me most. Just wondering if anyone even has useful info or a step-by-step procedure for producing those two synthetic cannabanoids.

Please do not annhilate me if this is quite an impossible feat for me to even think of accomplishing. Just kindly inform me of my ignorance. But still leave me the procedure (if even just for other members to view!) Hahaha...

 

it's fairly complex. since active cannabinoids involves stereochemistry, you're looking at synthesis that's arguably more difficult than lsd (which also involves stereochem). the best route is synthesis using terpenes like pinene, olivetol (the primary starting material), citral, and linalool

 

Your saying using orange peels as a starting material or other volitile oils.

It would cost more to make synthetic THC than just letting mother nature make it for you.

 

Don't waste your time with a synth. Buy a bag or grow your own. I don't think we can compete with mother nature.

 

i think if one can get the proper chemicals and not have to do to many reactions to get to the reagents for the condensation then it is possible. A big mess, with low yeilds, yep. It comes down to your lab set up/equipment, your chems, and patients to get a fairly clean and tested product. search psychedelic chemistry (valentino)and shulgin . I think you will find it more of a chemical fantasy than anything worth impliminting. It may improve your knowledge of cannabis chemistry and the finer nuiances encountered. Interesting read. Sections on testing and purification of biomaterial are potentially usefull. In today's market it is probably best to leave the herb natural, basically unprocessed. those that have played with cleaning up low quality are typically happy with the results. economically you would probably lose, but its about the art, the cleaner, brighter high, and novel forms.

 

You could probably do it with a degree in chemisty and a fully equipped lab and a bunch of chemicals and the recipe, this would cost a shit ton. Fuck all that, grow yer own instead. Just my 2cents

Good luck with that, you're going to need a lot more than determination. Maybe just start with a closet grow and work up from there.
