I was with a woman once who began to cry after she came. I don't know if it was a release of energy thing, if I hurt her, or if it brought up bad memories of being raped or abused or whatever. I do know that it was weird, and really killed the moment, which was heavenly until that time.

Anyone else here have that experience?

I have done this too if the orgasm was extremely intense. What did she say when you asked 'is there anything wrong?'

I cry sometimes during sex. It might be a little different because it's usually pretty rough sex and sortof part of the fantasy...it's a release thing for me.

Jia's got the right idea. There's a perfectly good chance it's just release, and it shows that she feels comfortable around you. There's also a chance that it brought up some kind of trauma, or that you're really terrible in bed lol. Best way to find out is to ask her.

I didn't ask her and she didn't volunteer. I just held her for a very long time until she calmed down. It only happened once. Since it didn't happen again, I didn't need exploration. We've always been open and honest, and she knows she can discuss anything with me.

May have been a catharsis of something completely unrelated to you.

Well, sounds like things are pretty well under control here. If it does happen again, I'd suggest asking her if there's anything she wants to talk about - in as gentle a way as possible - but it sounds like you're handling things great on your end. Nice work.

By the way, and I mention this just oft-handedly... but there is a subtle difference between knowing theoretically that you can discuss anything with somebody and being reassured that you can discuss anything with someone.

I haven't experienced it, but I would say if it happens again, just try and ask her calmly, and let her know that you are supportive of her answer. Don't push her though. Hope it's alright for ya. :)

It's all good. I think the emotions just overwhelmed her and I didn't understand.

My woman tends to cry after a really good orgasm (usually when she has a clitoral and vaginal orgasm together). It may be a good thing. You should ask.

We've talked about it since. She said it just really surprised her and she didn't have a good answer as to why, except that it was a tremendous release of emotions for her.

Some people tend to loose control of body functions when they come. Some people cry and some other flatulate, defacate or urinate and become incontinent. Orgasm can have a very powerful effect on some individuals male or female.
