It was soooo fucking good. When Dubya was elected I honestly could only calm myself down after thinkinh how bad could one person fuck up a whole country in just 4 years. I was 23 and the adult world was still new to me man was I nieve. The thing I always wonder is why the hell do people hate to pay taxes? Is money more important than a well equipped army, good roads, public health care, higher qulity eductaion and more inportantly Not being in debt up to our eyeballs to countries like Japan?
Perhaps if the money were actually being invested in those things (in reverse order, though ). The reason I hate paying taxes is because I got two raises last year and took a pay cut because my tax bracket increased and far more money was taken out of my checks, while my dad on the other hand, who makes far more than me, utilizes all those nifty loopholes granted to the rich and pays (percentage wise) a lot less.
