Cacti, but a little detail I noticed about both.

Basically middle to a bit higher than Canada is mushroom territory, growing in damp, foresty areas. While peyote grows from everywhere from lower California to the rim of South America, just a funny little concept to think about, cause I can never get any peyote in Vancouver. :(

of course not.. peyote loves the sun, and very little moisture. from my understanding, the northwest is the opposite of its preferential habitat.

but, you guys have psilocybe cyanescens and azurescens.. the most potent species of mushrooms on the planet.

What do you mean "which one is stronger/more powerful"?

The strength of each is dose dependent, meaning each can be as strong as the other with the right dose.

    every substance has it's power

SWIM says cactus is much more speedy than shrooms, and shrooms are more confusing.

to me, cacti are more "controllable". On mushrooms I feel a bit "lost".
I cannot control the trip on shrooms. I like cacti more.

Mescaline puts you under its influence. It's like you're in a 4-wheeled vehicle, and it's safe.

Shrooms are like riding a unicycle on ice. It puts you "under the influence", but you're pretty much out there on your own.

But, I've found that my favorite is whichever I'm on or did last. Which is great. It's much better than always thinking that the other one is better.

cacti (mescaline) is more closer in effect to LSD than shrooms. In fact thats not even right.

I should be saying that LSd is more closer in effect to cacti than shrooms. Cacti is at the far end of the other spectrum. THe spectrum im talking about is the lucidity of the trip, and its clearness. Shrooms are usually more confusing and random, and uncontrollable. like a wild free child. Lsd and especially cacti are more mature but deeper and more vivid and controllable.

LSd is actually somewhere in between but still closer to cacti.

THose that are more controllable (LSD, mescaline cacti) are less likely to cause a bad trip.
