so i didnt really know where i should post this so i figured i would put it here.
i have been dating this girl for a few weeks now and we are pretty serious about each other and have shared alot of intimate stuff. she told me that she didnt really eat (like maybe once a day) and used the term anorexic. she is a really beautiful girl and i tell her that everyday but it sounds like she doesnt really listen.... it stresses me out because i care about her and dont want her to ever feel bad. so i was just wondering wat the best thing to do would be?

thanks for any advice it will definetly be verrry helpful cus idk wat to do...

Unfortunately, she needs professional help, and there's not much you can do, aside from being supportive, which it sounds like you've already been doing. No matter how much you tell her she's pretty, she probably won't believe you, since people with anorexia have a brain disorder where they are not able to see just how skinny/pretty they are. Make sure she's getting professional help, but don't try and take on the load yourself.

Yes, I think professional help is best. Try not to bring this up too often, though, even though you are truly worried, try not to upset her.

Perhaps you should tell her what you plan to do and give her the choice to tell her parents herself or you will tell them for her. If you don't let her know, she may see this as going behind her back and get upset w/ you, even though you have the right intentions. When someone is in a mentally unstable mindset, they can be irrational to the extreme. It sounds like she admits that there is a problem, which is a good thing. That is usually the hardest step. Stay supportive of her, show her that you care for her so she should care for herself too, and be her crutch b/c she needs one right now.

I wish your girlfriend the best.

    Peace and love

Im going to go with everyone else. Tell her what your thinking and why. She could be pissed, but if you really care about her her best intrerst should come before being worried that she will be mad. You seem like a great person so I wish you the very best with all this. I also am sending tons of positive vibes to your girlfriend for healing and comfort.
