So todays my birthday. A couple days back I was asking my parents for a new 30 gig zune for my birthday, if i threw down maybe a quarter of the cost or so. That night i mentioned to my girlfriend that my parents may get me the zune i want for my birthday. Today comes around and i asked if i could take a ride down to bestbuy to pick up my gift, and they are telling me to wait till after the weekend. I have no problem doing this with somewhat of a reason. I finally talked my way around all the fluff and found out that my girlfriend had called my parents the night i told her about the zune, and told them not to get me it because she has already gotten me an ipod. 1. I HATE iPods, iTunes, and Apple PERIOD! 2. I love my girlfriend of two years 3. I need something bigger than what im guessing she got me. (I ran out of room on my last 8 gig iPod, which was stolen while i was being arrested.) 4. She ordered it online, which i would not have done. But Im hoping she ordered it from a legit site like apple or bestbuy so there is somewhat of a chance to return it. I should be seeing her on saturday, im glad my parents told me because i would have not known how to react WHAT DO I DO? PLEASE HELP!!!
Well your stupid. Ipods are absolutly amazing. And the smallest ones they make are 30 gig. Assuming she didnt get you a nano. I had a zune, it sucked.

Just take the iPod man... they really are not bad. only problem is you always have to convert all movies to iPod format (??) in order to play them, Other then that they rock; Really stable OS that never crashes or slows down. Instant Power on ( yeah I think not having to wait those 2-3 extra seconds every time you turn power on makes a difference) well yeah very stable and smooth OS anyway.
Well since the zune comes in brown and has the ability to "squirt", I have come to the conclusion that the designers knew it was a piece of shit.
i could see if she got you like a small ipod mini or something but if she got you a nice regular ipod thats like 30 gigs thats better then the zune. all ive got is an old ass ipod mini thats 4gig. a friend of mine found it on the side of the road and couldnt get it working. the bottom was all scrapped up but the plug seemed fine. i bought some cheapo charger dock thing from riteaid and plugged it in and it works great. whos ever it was had some shity ass music on it but hey i got an ipod now LOL. i hardly ever use it now its not even color or anything so i cant watch videos on it.
lol I have to agree with everyone else. I wish I had an ipod! I don't have anything atm, and need it for the gym. My sister has one, but it's filled with shitty rap and country bullshit and I don't feel like putting my music in for only a week or so. I think I'm just going to go out and buy a cheap mp3 player for now. You can send it to me if you want.
Well, its not so much the fact that its an ipod, though i do dislike them. But maybe i forgot the part that i need something more than 8 gigs. Im sure she did not get me a 30 gig, if she did then i would be estatic for sure, with no complaints. (Although i would still like a zune, after already not having much luck with 3 ipods, and hopefully not 4 now.) - One got stolen - One started freezing/breaking a week after buying it - One was "lost" when i was pulled over, arrested, and losing my friends car to the impound lot. Police said there was no sign of an ipod in the ipod radio adapter which we were listening to while getting stopped. Ugggh.
Take the Ipod and say, "babe, I really like the ipod but i have read that apple are bullshitting with me and they keep on making new ones every year and their service is not that great. and zune, well they are fucking awesome! I like their software and mp3 player and it's cheaper and i can get the 30gig brown zune for 100. =)" she'll be like, okay babe i'll trade it in for you and keep the money i'll get back from returning this ipod. or just be happy with the ipod even they suck. it looks coo, but it sucks.
Well the only 8 gigs they make are the touch, and if she got you that then you should be jumping up and down. But the 8 gig touch is more expensive then the 30 gig regular. So unless she got you a nano you should be thrilled, cause then its a touch which is the shit or a 30 gig. As for loosing the, only one of those has to do with it being an ipod, and thats what warrenties are for. I had one that wouldent turn on after a week, things have bugs sometimes. I took it in, and they handed me a brand new one.
