So my friend and I are going to trip on acid, prolly 3 hits a piece. My first time, not his first time. He likes a beer or two while it comes on, to ease the ego-loss I suppose, but I totally fuckin hate beer and most alcohol. I do enjoy the opiate euphoria of oxycontin, which I'm fortunate enough to have access to. I do remember the value of alcohol at the end of a shroom trip, say if I wanted to just be normal again but the shrooms wouldn't relent, so I'd pound some beer or something. I would like to have some oxys handy in case I need to mellow out for some reason, but I don't want to water down the clarity and understanding of the trip. I don't intend to take the L with the oxys or anything, just keep them handy in case. Has anyone added oxys or other opiates to your physchedelia? Did it diminish the value of it? Are there better times to take the oxy than other times during the trip? Any comments are welcome
Opiates and LSD = Heaven. Nothing more to be said really. But of course I cant help myself! If you take them early in the trip or even before, as long as you have a tolerance and were talking 100-200mg range here, then no your trip will not be diminished as the opiates will have run the major course before the LSD even really finished the count down to lift off. However if the LSD is weak and the opiate's hit you hard, the visuals and overall euphoria will be lessened but no worries, it will not overwhelm your trip. Taking OC after the L has run it's course is probably the best chemical happening a human being can experience on the beautiful Planet in such a short lifetime. Have fun, Im sure you will Namaste
wow thanks. i wasn't expecting such support. The two drugs on their own have very different, almost contrasting properties which is why I wondered if it was cool to combine them. But then again, coffee and cannabis are vastly different, but are rapturous when combined. Yeah if I'm going to take something that makes me less aware, I'd much rather it be the veritable bliss of an opiate, instead of the nauseous and undermining effects of alcohol.
Well, Im sure you can expect a wave of naysayers negating what I have to say, but I know you enough to be aware of your stance on opiates, and though I've quit now, when I was hooked, nothing equaled perfection in my mind like LSD/Mushrooms with a decent dose of opiates, particularly MS Contin but OC every now and then. Like I said, I have experienced a downgrade on the trip level from doing this, but never to the point of regret. Timing is key, it's probably best to wait until the peak is melting away
cool. that's a good thing to remember. I was leaning toward using them toward the end of the trip anyway. I'm flattered that you know me well enough to know how I handle opiates, especially since they are stigmatized so much!
I combined 30mg Oxy with 1.8 grams of shrooms once. The shrooms were weak so I never truly tripped at full potential, however I still had this wonderful warm earthy feeling of bliss wiring itself through my limbs.
so my homie got the doses in Portland...8 for $60. Apparently they look like little translucent windows; he even wondered if the hits were real...The dealer said I shouldn't take more than 2 at a time, saying when he took 2 it was nuts. I don't know how to take that, because I've understood that it becomes a bit less "nuts" and more ethereal and clear if you increase dosage. Maybe start with two and take another after it hits me? Will I even be cognizant of that intention after it hits me?
One blotter of the the cleanest(not strongest) LSD ive ever gotten my hands and + 40mgs of OC insuffalated in two lines 4 hours after the LSD was taken=best chemical induced feeling in my life.
