what is the active drug in vicoden?

im wondering what the drug in vicoden is called because i have a bottle of pills with the name naproxen 500 mg on them and i think they are vicoden but im not sure. can anyone help me out as to what these pills are?

 

they're not Vicodan, they are naproxen, aka "Alleve". OK for a muscle ache.

 

so its a muscle relaxer? how much would u recomend for a nice high?

It's not a muscle relaxer, it's a NSAID.

I thought the same thing at first, but i's a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Same class as Ibuprofen

 

Yeah it's a NSAID and would say has no recreational value at all if your trying to get a high from it.

For the record, Vicodin is hydrocodone. But that is NOT Vicodin.

 

For clarities sake, the active ingredients in Vicodin are 5mg Hydrocodone and 500mg APAP in regular or 7.5mg Hydrocodone and 750mg APAP in Vicodin ES. The hydrocodone is the active opioid. The APAP is tylenol.
