Has its up and downs for sure. For the most part it is highly entertaining. I am a pretty flexible person and let most things slide, but today I kicked someone the hell out of my bar. It was a good feeling.
He was completely lacking in manners, had been drinking before he came in, totally arrogant and perverted. Thats fine. I can let things slide with myself. Even though there was a child near the bar with his dad ordering takeout, and the man looks at the kid (about 8 yrs old) and says "doesnt she have a hot ass?' about me! TO A KID! Disgusting. But I keep smiling and just nodding along. My fellow bartender had to cut him off, and all I hear is him badmouthing her while I am pouring drinks. I see out of the corner of my eye, him lean over an start tossing things at her. Clearly I am a vicious mama bear, and it unleashed, and I looked him dead in the eye and told him to get out, that is NOT okay to do blah blah blah. And he is like, much much older than me. And I didnt care although I am usually so mild mannered. It was Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet
working at a bar was fun for me.. but incredibly tireing and sometimes way too dramatic.. like.. dealing with jealous co-workers, jealous customers, etc. dealing with MEN haha drunk men.. but it was fun.
I know. I was disgusted. Dont get me started on this other guy. But aw I wont talk shit about him. I think he was very starved for attention.
i remember working at a bar. i love superbowl sundays when all the guys are drunk and rude as fuck then dont want to pay there tab because its $800 + auto gratuitity. still i made bank, so i bought a nice car. haha
I wish I worked at a bar. Not only do bartenders get laid like rockstars but, they don't usually have to physically deal with the drunks do they? Just yell at them and get help right? As a security guard I would have to choke a cat.
