So I've been doing some browsing around in the psychic forum, and I've read a few posts of people saying there's no such thing as coincidence. Now, why would you say that? To be honest, that scares me... coincidences are a frequent thing for me. Very frequent. People who I know, mainly my friends, notice it too.

can it be in saying there is no coincidence , well , that this is another way to say every coincidence is meaningful ?

in simply noticing a coincidence , hasn't it at least got the meaning of a something/something worth noticing ?

even a 'meaningless coincidence' has this bit of meaning . we got big brains busy with relationships .

The brain is hardwired to seek out naturally recurring patterns, so occasionally when the brain is in search mode; we receive the information in the form of what we call a coincidence, or déjà Vu (the feeling that we’ve experienced or encountered the same conditions before)

These associations are the rudimentary basis for memory and recognition [IMG]

Coincidences do happen, although there often seems to be purpose in them. This is not to be mistaken with déjà vu. The latter is often just a trick of memory. What kind of coincidences are you speaking of (no, that is not a preposition in this use, lol)? If you are thinking of a friend and he or she suddenly calls you that is probably not just a coincidence. If you always find yourself in the right place at the right time that is probably not just coincidence. Coincidence is the convergence of random events that affects aspects of your existence in such a way that one would charactorize it as luck (good or bad). You have to ask yourself, though, how many of these events are really random? A few such events can be attributed to chance, however, a large numer of said events would be difficult to simply call chance.

seems good to stay relaxed and dreamy . don't crazy people get all wound up in too many coincidences , you see them trying to make excessive sense ?

I would say no harm in considering coincidences as long as you intersperse this with frequent reality checks. It took me almost a year of daily experiences to become 99.9% convinced that somebody was really reading my mind - I kept considering other possibilities.

    incidentally , what a coincidence !

some people go crazy in the anarchy , some avoid it , some attack it , some survive . i had one good friend who never attacked it , at first avoided it , then tumbled in going crazy ... and survived . his crazy story is of wild , impossible coincidences of grandly mythic heroism and then failure . he didn't recover , just survived to be more gentle about anarchy . in his trouble he had become extremely obsessive with making rational sense of it unto every moment . once upon a time he would throw the i-ching constantly ... everything became a meaningingful coincidence ... and all was justified . i think he did not quite love enough . he was not gentle with the anarchy .

Quite a lot of coincidental incidences - the overwhelming weight finally tipped the balance.
Hmmm not sure what "anarchy" refers to...I don't see anarchy unless I ignore certain undeniable experiences...then again, usually I don't try to make rational sense out of every moment's events. I think I see your point about getting carried away though - the human mind is built to look for patterns, and schizophrenics are so consumed with pattern-finding that they ignore anything that detracts from the validity of their patterns, and pattern-finding becomes their full-time occupation.

    A is for anarchy .

wild nature , undefinable , unpredictable , free , not manipulative , everything is nothing is anything , playful , nonsensical , jokers wild , giving free-will

yaya , to deny no part of existence is gentle and respectful to anarchy . anarchy can and will kick ass bare-footedly .

i do alot of casual reading with the Wheel - which is a toy that randomly spins an alphabet - including A . ask a question , no you don't have to say it out loud , just spin and i'll be your dictionary , ya spin as much as you like , you are building associations of meaning and the answer only gets more specific .... well , sometimes a person has a predetermined idea of absolutely what shall be . frustratingly and sour faced they keep spinning and spinning . once the Wheel has answered it'll just keep repeating those same symbols and is demonstrating an essence of understanding within wild nature - revelation . old old and always new new , um , coincidentally .

um human magic , to hold the essence as truth

I see...anarchy is where my spirit guides are trying to get me to live.
It has a very firm but flexible foot.
Please spin me one more answer then.
