Random thought I've been wondering this for the longest time, tempted the post about it, finally did.... so, Astrology and Marijuana: Any connections? Are different signs affected differently? does it bring out certain qualities? etc. For example; I'm a Gemini, Sag rising. When I smoke I get very playful, philosophical, positive, etc. my bf is a Cancer, Taurus rising. He gets paranoid, scared, anti social, and quiet and sleepy.
Well im a scoprio, i keep to myself. When im high im literally off in my own world. Dont say a damn thing. My last girlfriend hated me being high because i was literally stoned. haha Im just company when high. Give me a drink and ill write you a story. ^^
i wish i knew more about astrology. i'm a capricorn, born Dec 26. Can anyone tell me what i'm suppose to be like?
i'm a sagittarius, leo rising, and when i get high i get LOUD, like really really loud, i trip out, weed is like LSD to me, i pig out, im one with music, i have 'dreams' while im awake, im paranoid, and very very annoying lol....it's alotta fun ^_^
I think we need a professional astrologist who smokes a lot of pot to figure this one out. But then again, they're probably out smoking a lot of pot and can't be bothered. BTW, I'm a Cancer, Leo rising, and I feel pot brings out my Cancer side more. I become more in tune with my emotions as well as the emotions of others, and I can feel a strong connection to music beyond that of the usual pot smoker.

I'm a Cancer with moon in Scorpio and Cancer rising. When I've smoked (probably less than 100 times in my whole life), I have experienced a wide range of effects from it. Sometimes I'm clingy and sulky, vibrant and energetic, smiley and family-oriented, etc. I think when you're dealing with a drug that suppresses the filters and disciplines that we put on ourselves in order to function in a busy and aggressive society like the one we live in, and cannabis is certainly such a drug, there are a whole bunch of things under the surface which come out. I'm sure a person's astological makeup has a lot to do with the aspects of their personality which come out when they let those psychological barriers down, but given that people can have *entirely* different experiences with psychedelics just by taking them in a different environment, in a different room or house, in different company, at a different point in their life, etc, I'd say that astrological generalizations aren't entirely applicable here. That being said, I can see how someone could make the generalism, because everybody has some deeper feelings and identities going on that they don't reveal in everyday life because it wouldn't be appropriate for social games, and psychedelics tend to bring those to light.
This is a really interesting theory. I'd like to see how this one turns out, makes me wish I knew more about astrology though, I don't know much at all really, although I really should.
The reason you experienced wide range of effects on marijuana is because no marijuana plant is the same, also Sativa will give you a head high while indica gives you a body high. When I started smoking I became interested in astrology and science.
you're not supposed to be anything except having fun when you're high. It sure as hell does bring out the sagittarian in me. And my friends love it. It also can depend on one's own temperament and desire. If things are right like the setting, the company, surrounding outlets for stimulation and all that, these things of attraction will take over where astrology might become less relevant.
Im a pisces and cant smoke weed at all. i get very paranoid and cant follow or hold conversations. I stay away from it!
