Religion.

i dont consider myself an athiest, i dont believe in a god but i dont try to convert and i dont like those who convert on either side of the story im just too chill to convert and i dont really give a shit what you think i know what i want to beleive and don't try to change my beliefs. i stopped beliveing when i was high and just really thought about theology and just stopped believing about 1 year ago

 

i am an athiest, and proud of it. i dont feel that i need to express my reasoning behind my beliefs to people(in general) that i dont give a damn about. i have been berated, screamed at, and have :quote "disgusted" people that believe in a supposed "understanding" god. I try to be openminded about peoples beliefs, but its extremely hard when people arent about mine and others like myself. So now i find myself quoting Nietzsche to express my feelings to those who belief in a god.

I think religion is dying... more and more ppl form the younger genrations are not being brainwahsed and grow out of the religion thing pretty fast. Did anyone else notice this?
I think in like 2 or 3 generations number of belivers will decrease dramatically.

I am the UNIVERSE and thats all that matters anything else doesnt matter for all I am is matter. Am I more than MATTER... How do I know that you matter for If you are more than matter also or you are not only matter also. How do I know your more than matter or even matter to begin with... If there was infinite time before now then that means there has to be a God thats eternal.

 

I would be able to understand you if you could speak good english... but you can't so it just comes across as confusing.

Saying we have a God that is eternal is just the same as saying the universe is eternal.. If God just exists and wasn't made.. he has been here forever.. whats to say that there is no God and the universe wasn't made.. and has been here forever ?

 

your experiencing GOD... on your own levels of time... IT.s a riddle... Time is not a variable since you see time as stationary.. Time isnt stationary... but that still doesnt matter thats what life is .... life is a argument with beings that communicate.. a species depends upon itself to survive..and continue by doing whats good for its species....if its conscience of what it must do to survive it continues.. Or evolves.. It must learn to do whats good to its kind ...

If your trying to have a GOD then have one but it still doesnt matter... get it it a riddle...all things in the universe are composed of matter.. and you dont matter any more than anyone else matters all you need to do is figure out whats the matter.. Because thats all that really matters after all...is what matters to you..

 

Are you trying to say that because we are physical humans.. and God (if there is one) is non-physical.. then it means nothing to us until we die? so we must focus on living our material lives... and not worry about God.. because it doesn't matter?

Kinda.. basically its a argument to a evolved species like humans we can argue till were blue in the face cause thats the joke of eternity... who is god.... its difficult not to think about GOD in the equation only because thats what you think about...

You made up the image of GOD.. If you took your focus off the image you would feel eternal like god. the question isnt what is GOD .. But what GOD isnt....

but if GOD is everything that must not matter either... just keep on doing what is good for you and your species...because thats all that really matters...

I'm christian, but i believe that there's more than one higher being. It's weird- i believe in God and Jesus, but there's some stuff I just can't buy. I incorporate other beliefs into my religion-i fully believe in past lives and re-incarnation, i believe that homosexuality is not a sin(if so, why are people gay?), and the whole sex waiting 'till marriage is a bunch of bullshit.
i don't believe that you need to be "tied down" by religion to enjoy life. i also don't dismiss other religions, because who knows if Christianity is truly real? yeah, i believe in it but i don't know for sure- we're all taking a chance with this.
but i def. believe that God isn't alone-i think there are more than one higher being.
