If a person takes LSD and they begin to feel like they are losing their grip on what we usually think of as reality and their personal identity during the expericence (I guess ego loss would be a good term), should they just flow with it and accept the experience or should they fight it to return to their usual concept of self and reality? If you guys have time, please answer this question because it has been bugging me a lot. Thanks

Don't fight it, just make sure you're in a safe environment first, or you could have a really bad trip.

I think you should trip in only good conditions:

Nice weather, good temperature and an open sky and environment to look at
No authorities nearby to risk freaking out
People you really enjoy being around and feel at home with
If crap starts happening anyways (how could it?) than I say just go off alone or with one friend for a little and just look up into the sky

go with it. it may be hard when you havent tripped much. but more you trip the more you let go and are comfortable in whats happening.

If you suddenly realize that you are seperating from your personality, ask yourself, was this ego ever mine in the first place? Is it even real? Because then you just may find out that the ego is more of a parasite than anything, it feeds off your mind while making your mind believe that it is feeding off the ego for survival. And you also may just find out what 'You' actually are in the process.

Ive experienced the "Ego death" thing once. At first its a scary feeling, knowing that you litterally know nothing about anything, but then the peices slowly start to reform and you gain clarity.

I think you have to fight it, by that i mean finding reason and explanation for the unknown. Sitting back and doing nothing is useless.

Like most things in an acid trip, just go with the flow. Fighting stuff in acid trips seems to make the person more uneasy and then you'd be trying to work out what's going on which altogether could end up you up with a bad trip.
