Who has it better?

in life, or in other aspects of life?

 

Well, people. I think women have it rather hard anyway; it's mere statistics confirming this as fact. Left to care for everything, underpaid badly for all that care and work, dependant on men for sex and relations. And those trying to deny this nature in them are never happy in a true sense of it.
Although I can understnad the kind of "happiness", when you find enough spirit in you to forgo some joys of life in order to "keep free"... But I suspect strongly, that if you give in to your nature and stop fighting, you will have the joys of "being what you are" and spare time and health otherwise spent on that internal struggle. And in both cases, of course, you will have your good and bad things anyway.

 

I think it's better to be a man! A man can do anything without worring about anything! We girls can't even stick together because our interests come first! Many women today must wear indecent clothes and be at a man's mercy just to survive! You see everywhere 50-year old geeks with 19-year old models but not vice-versa so I tottaly think it's a man's world

 

I think in general men tend to have it a lot easier. Women have to deal with a period where as men don't. Woman can get pregnant on accident where as men can't. A lot of the time if a guy sleeps around people give him credit and boost his ego where as if a woman does she is viewed as a whore. Men don't go through half the shit women do and then they think they are better. Not every one of them, but most men suck.

The options don't make a lot of sense. You have two categories, one being specific (sexually) and one is way too broad (life). It's too hard to vote, too many holes.

 

What kind of "survival" is that? Mere slavery. Just putting themselves sure into the position of the carpet to clean man's dirty shoes.

So WHO is it, telling them they "must"? It only works that way when you are telling YOURSELF: "I must!".
Actually, the stupid thing they do is trying to "please" men, when they are under no such obligation. Just leave it to prostitutes to please them who want it -- they pay them at least, make a bargain, mind that.
Show them you are a woman, a valuable creature that alone can give man some very special kind of relations, which they want to have. A fragile creature, too; so if he wants to have these relations, he must show first how much he cares!!!
And this "pleasing" them destroys everything.
So again,it starts from oneself, believe it or not. With all my compassion for poor chicks, this is all I can say about it.

It is clean off topic, I know. I was supposed to just discuss the troubles and lament the problems. Sorry.

 

I suppose it could depend on where you are. Uber-Christians and Orthodox (Hasidic) Jews tend to oppress their women while remaining on the safe side of the law.

 

Men.

If you were born as a woman, there is a greater chance, given the various countries on earth and their less enlightened idea on gender roles, that a woman would not have a pleasant life.

Of course, generally speaking, in the modern, westernized world, such things are not a problem. But thats not a very large section of the world, and if, in some hypothetical scenaro you could chose your birth gender but not where you were born, it would be a bad bet to make.

 

ferrel cats have it better. and other small wild creatures, because they can crawl through and under fences that keep people out from where there are keep out signs, and small enough and fast enough not to get caught or seen or noticed by humans who would shoot them for being there.
