I'll sum this up as best I can.
I met 'her' as a Junior in highschool when I transfered schools. I'm 20, she is 19. She is from Mexico. She's lived here her entire life (since 4 years old). She's obviously not a citizen. I am of course, and she's recently had to go to Mexico. I love her very much but it seems like years will pass before she's able to come back. I want to wait but it's a long time. We love eachother very much and the lawyer process we're going through is a complete mess. It's only been 6 months and I'm losing hope. We've planned on marrying for a long time now, well before "that letter" came in the mail saying she needs to be in Mexico 6 months after her 18th birthday or she will be banned from the USA for 'X' amount of time. Oh, and YES she does love me truly and NO she is not just using me. I'm fucken sad all the time and I know she is too. I don't know how long it might be. What would you do in this situation when you really love someone? I'm also on probation for 3 more months, so marrying her in Mexico is not an option - yet. WHAT DO I DO.

    Anybody?

    Thanks.

Why are you on probation? Also, if it's only for 3 more months what's to stop you from getting married in Mexico after those 3 months?

I think you are lucky, Mexico isnt that far from the US... Try having someone you love living half way across the globe.

Long distance relationships have the slightest chance of succeeding, provided the couple are already married, preferably have children and have had at least a few years to build a solid foundation for their relationship.
    Otherwise, forget it.
