Im just starting need some tips

Hello to all well Im just getting out of the military and have been wantiung to start my own small grow op maybe 10-15 plants but then i got to thinking and i asked my buddy what should i do bout the electric and he suggested using generators does anyone know if that would work and how many i would need for 4 lights 1000hp sodiums. i look foward to hearing for you guys thanks.

 

Generators are a big waste of money now a days... unless you're buying a 30,000 diesel and you know how to fix it yourself.. and don't mind spending $2-3/gallon of fuel...

Not even going to get into the muffling and hiding of a generator...

4,000 watt grows are fairly common and nothing to worry about with the electric co. Keep your other electric items unplugged, don't use your dryer etc.

 

or you could use tons of cfls, they dont use too much electric. but im just going to say that as a first time grower you should start small, mabey 105 plants becuase a lot of plants can become a big task.

 

Hey there my man,

Start small a 400 mh for veg and and 400 - 600 hps for flowering. Your electric bill should go up ~ $30 a month.

Resist the temptation to go big as even 4-5 girls will produce enough for the year. 4k watts is enough for 100+ plants.

Thank you guys for the info and i will take ur advice on using 200-400hps for vegitative and 600 for flowering cause 30 buck spike in electric wont raise any questions thank you guys so much.Now I have another question Seeds I ordered some bluemoonshine,and ak47 from Dpassion and i got an enveope where the seeds were suppose to be But instead there was a ststement from the dept of agriculture saying the contents were destroyed.And basically that if i attempted to import these seeds I would face procecution So what Do i do where can i get the seeds i want? Hee hee the ole letter Sucks popping a couple hundie for seeds and receiving that instead.

Never have them sent to your own house (if growing there) and if using a buddy's place just mispell the name a bit so he can claim a "wtf I did not order these."

It happens.

You could do a run with bag seed - depending on the seeds they may turn out well.

Another thought, how does the electric Co. know whether you bought a new 18cuft. freezer a good $50 a month to run..... or a welder could add $100 or 2 to the bill!>P

 

My MIG does cause that meter to spin like a top So does paying the bill.

And if you have a MiG, you must have the grinders, and other electrical tools that are required to complete the welding job, thank goodness welding isn't illegal!>P

Wish I lived closeto ya, need some welding 'n' cutin done. got this 4 fan 1 motor setup I got from a trift shop with a 3/4" shaft I'd like to cut down to 2 fans, OHWELL! one o' these days.
