He's probably get more support if he appealed to more than the stoner side of things. He's anti-immigration (illegal or otherwise) and also is anti-gun control. He only really ticks one hippie based box.

I think he's out of the presidential race.

    I would've voted for him...maybe.

So he's against any immigrant coming into this country at all? Is that what anti immigration means?

Yeah, as in, complete border control, not to mention that he wants to get rid of the birth right citizenship (IE, you could have been born in and lived your entire life in the US, but still be deported because your parents were illegal immigrants.)

Let me ask you whats wrong with that close the border and what he means by that is no fence hopping if your coming here with a proffesional career lined up come on in but if your coming with nothing stay out!!!!!!!!This is not a racist view I myself am only second generation and have no problem with immigration just bring something with you and dont expect welfare when you get here.
Also if your not here legaly and you give birth here your child should have no rights as a cittizen because it shouldnt even been here in the first place.
Sorry but the more that come and have no means of support or any language comprehension are just a burdon to this society and will have to live off the system SSI welfare and free medical coverage that me as a cittizen has to work my ass off to provide for my family!!

Well, I'm an anarchist and I personally believe that all borders should be abolished. If you wanted to say, move to France or Germany or something, would you bother learning the language? You would try a lot less hard than people risking their lives to attempt to escape the worldwide class divide. Most immigrants end up doing the jobs that white people can't be bothered to do because they're too menial. You say it's not racist but as far as I'm concerned, believing that one group of people deserve a better life than another group simply because they had the luck to be born on the other side of an imaginary line is (if not racist) hypocritical.

So long as they pay their taxes and don't commit victimful (as in the opposite of victimless crimes) crimes then let anyone live anywhere. If you were down on your luck you'd like to have the opportunity to save yourself. Why shouldn't others?

"I wish I could show you what a small marihuana cigarette can do to one of our degenerate Spanish-speaking residents. That's why our problem is so great; the greatest percentage of our population is composed of Spanish-speaking persons, most of who are low mentally, because of social and racial conditions."

"...the primary reason to outlaw marijuana is its effect on the degenerate races."

"There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the US, and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos, and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz, and swing, result from marijuana use. This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers, and any others."

"Reefer makes darkies think they're as good as white men."
    Harry J. Anslinger - America's 1st Drug Czar (FDR - JFK)

"[Marijuana] is highly intoxicating and constitutes an ever recurring problem where there are Mexicans or Spanish-Americans of the lower classes."
New York Times - Newspaper (1933)

"I want a Goddamn strong statement on marijuana, I mean one that just tears the ass out of them. You know, it's a funny thing, every one of the bastards that are out for legalizing marijuana is Jewish."
Richard M. Nixon - Former President

"In some districts, inhabited by Latin Americans, Filipinos, Spaniards and Negroes, half the violent crimes are attributed to marijuana craze. Dr. Lee Rice of San Antonio reports that eighty per cent of all the murders committed by Mexicans are done while the killers are drugged by marijuana."
The Christian Century (newspaper) - 1938

"Marihuana influences Negroes to to look at white people in the eye, step on white men's shadows and look at a white woman twice."
William Randolph Hearst - Newspaper Tycoon (1936)

Ok you say they do the jobs we dont want but befor the big border jump from the south the jobs were getting done but with illegals doing them now for half the labor rate we dont want them anymore. We used to be able to make a good living in blue collar jobs not anymore mostly because of non citizens doing the work cheap and the employers dont want to pay fair rates, worker comp and medical as long as you have a group that will work without those benifits it will continue and its the fault of the empoyer also.
Go try that system in Canada
All Im saying if you bring a skill with you and speak the english and your able and willing to work come on in
But if your coming with nothing and want welfare medical and or SSI stay the FUCK OUT no one wants you here.
To claify Im speaking about anyone from anywere.

I was about to make a point about the minimum wage here, but then I realised a handful of states don't have it.

I'd agree that priorities should be given to those who are skilled, but you also have to accept that immigrants hardly have a perfect quality of life after jumping the border. They face intimidation and blackmail by corrupt employers and have to avoid quite a lot of things that would allow them to be discovered. They also do tend to work a lot harder than non-immigrants. Which is what we're finding over here at the moment. We have a (faaairly) decent minimum wage by the way. We have a large influx of Poles and Eastern Europeans coming over at the moment, legally or otherwise. People constantly complain that they're stealing all the jobs. But in a recent documentary they discovered that when people were offered the same jobs the immigrants are doing (even at the minimum wage available for most other jobs) then they refuse, because they're undesirable jobs.

I think Ron Paul would have been our greatest president out of all the candidates. Very smart man and knows exactly what he is talking about. To bad our society is focused on whether they are a Democrat or Republican...

He has strong republican point of views, so he doesn't have much support from the stoner/hippie/democratic croud
but he has pro-marijuana views, so he's also gonna loose support from the republican/redneck/asshole croud aswell

I dont think he stands much of a chance

I must say Im enjoying this debate.
As for the documenary you mention americans turn down the work because it doesnt pay anymore and thats because there are masses of ilegalls to fill them and if they wernt there the labor rates would climb and once agian the the jobs would be filled with american workers not that they would work labor intensive jobs for minimum wage and if there were no one there takeing the jobs the salarys would have to climb until there were people willing to take them.
But when the market is flooded with unskilled labor (any race) that are here ilegaly they will take what they can get
and the empoyers see a way to save $ and that were the blue collar jobs are going so in a way they are stealing them but its not all there fault.
Then there are the ones who come in on legal grounds with kids and get welfare, food stamps, SSI, and free medical coverage and that is wrong and shouldnt be allowed.
If where your from was so bad stop breeding or stop looking for other people to support your family.
Granted there are exeptions to rule.
Also look at our Canadian neighbors your not pulling that shit up there they wont allow it you cant even enter on a work visa w\o your own health insurance.

Fair point with Canada, I never said they had a better system though. It is quite a tricky argument to make that they should simply stop breeding. It does kinda mean that they have to sacrifice a lot of their basic human needs and wants. If you were in that situation you'd want to be able to live normally. I do agree that in the current political set-up we are in, immigration has to be controlled/ some way of providing jobs/benefits needs to be found. I think the priority for immigrants should be:

    Fleeing persecution/atrocities > Skilled > Unskilled

The neocons want a world government run by corporations and banksters.
Turn in your citizenship for an employee ID.
Homelessness and unemployment are a deterrent to raising minimum wage,
A little reminder to the whistle blowers to keep quiet or you may be next.
The Ganjawar supplies the prisons with profits.
Keeps natural products off the market.
If the DEAth Merchants would get off the Mexicans backs,
Mexico could grow hemp the same as Canada.
A cash crop that would deter risking their lives to cross the border for low wages.
As long as we let corporate lobbies dictate the actions of the elected officials,
this is the world we get...
Ganja, ain't just for breakfast anymore...
Another election of appointed GOPerverts and Demonkrats...
    and Nader... DdC
