Howdy all.. just stopping by one last time to let you guys know what I'm up to. Within the next two weeks I am on a plane to Kentucky to a huge Job Corps center there where I'll be finishing up my High School Diploma, taking pre-military, and a health occupations vocation (which will help when I go to get my EMT/Paramedic certifications after the Marines). Things are really looking bright for me and it feels soooo good to be on the right track finally. My times sittin and chillen, smokin the ganj, kicking back and breathing in the fresh air was great, and a good break, but it's just time for me to move on and create a life for myself since my parents can not afford to hand over everything to me. I hope you all are doing great. I miss you guys a lot, and I won't forget my hipforums family! Cheers :cheers:

The center is in Morganfield.. which thus far I know to be a small ass town (as far as I know), even smaller than the one Im currently staying in now. I joked that half the population of the city has to be residing in the JC Center And thanks Nesta.. I love smoking, but in moderation, which means I need to put the blunt down while I get things in line, then pick the blunt back up
i didnt really know you to well from the time ive spent here but its good to know that your doing good. its to bad that your moving out of michigan even though its cold and crappy here i still love it. im in some really small towns around here it sucks real bad LOL. anyways man good luck what is it that your looking into doing in the military?
yeah, it sucks here in ohio, but michigan must be WAY worse in the winter. still, in the summer its way better, too, so its a trade off. personally i just want to move someplace thats always warm

Marines? I'm thinking of joining the Army... Jarheads spend too much time on boats from what I've been told.
Haha you must have heard wrong.. Jarheads spend too much time pulling triggers. The only real time they have business on any boat is when training for amphibious assault. I couldn't think of any other reason as to why they would be on a boat (definatly not travel since their air-shipped). Army is okay if ya feel like pushing paper or kicking back on a base for your whole experience To answer the other guy's question, I'll be doing straight up Combat Infantry, no aeronotics or specialties like that if thats what your wondering. Cool thing about it, after I'm done with all of this I'll be starting out as a higher ranking due to taking pre-mil... and the extra 2.5k after graduation aint bad either. I know a lot of you aren't pro-military and thats cool because its not for everyone so I respect that. Thanks again for the kind words guys..
