If it was legal NY wouldnt be so ridiculous right now. I personally think it would be much safer if it was regulated so thats my stance.

I live just outside of Albany NY where Governer Elliot Spitzer just got busted for being involved in a prostitution ring and you cant get a car anywheres near the capitol right now because of all the press there.

 

the benefits of making it legal are similar to making weed legal. tax benefits, less dodginess around it because it's not as much in the control of shady characters, etc. prostitution will never go, just like drugs, banning it's not doing any good, only harming the girls who are generally quite innocent and don't cause any trouble. so why not help everyone out and take care of the people providing this service.

then there's the point of sex being a basic human right, and what about people who can't get it the normal way? and what about letting people with special needs and desires getting an outlet?
