Im about to have to get my wisdom teeth taken out. Im assuming they will prescribe some sort of painkillers. What can I expect to get do you guys think?
20/30 10mg oxycotins.. If your lucky youll get a IV sedation and the dentist will have their way with you...lol..
i'll definatly have an IV sedation while im there. i meant what can i expect to get post op. 10mg oxy, are those weak? i know nothing of oxycotin
My wisdom teeth were compacted and they put me under to do the operation. When I woke up I was so fucked I couldn't walk the assistants had to hold me up. Ended up getting a script of around 20 of the 7.5/750 Watson Vicodins. If you know nothing about oxy, 10mg would probably be nice for you if thats what you even end up getting, which I doubt. It will probably be some dose of Vicodin under the 10mg or possibly the 5mg percocets I would say, as it isn't really THAT painful. Make sure you don't make it a habit to use painkillers, as thats what happened to me when I enjoyed them so much.
like prod said above 99% of the time for any dentist or Emergency Room trip for pain its Vicoden,loratab,or Hydrocodone 5.0's or 7.5's and thats it. If you ask for anything stronger its a red light of you being a addict and you won't get shit.
