I went to the gas station today and there was a lady standing outside holding a little black kitten. I love animals so I jumped out of the car to pet it and noticed there was another one that is practically identical playing in the flower bed in front of the gas station where she was standing. She said they were just sitting there, and not afraid, and then she handed the kitten to me and started to get in her car. Then she turned around and told me she thinks I should ask about them inside, and to take them home with me if I wanted to, which I told her that I definitely would. I asked and the people working didn't even know about the kittens, so I went back out and put them in my car, brought them home and fed them some food..they ATTACKED that food, so I'm thinking they might have been dropped off there. They are both boys, both black, and one has some white on his belly. So cute! They have fleas though, so I'm keeping them in my utility room until I can get some flea collars and bath, but I'm so happy! I saved them, they seem happy now, and I have KITTIES! I went to my fiances work and told him that we now have two new members of the family, hehe! He likes cats though, so everything is good. Well, I just wanted to share my good news with other animal lovers. Yay!

    ~cool~:)
I'm happy to hear that! Actually there is a homeless cat that hangs out at my local gas station, and I have tried before to catch him to bring him home and he just wont come near me. So I go there weekly to buy him a box of food and give it to the gas station workers to put out for him. Actually there is one lady that works there and I am almost sure she has stolen my box of food to bring home to her own cats before:mad: But I try to keep food there for him all the time. Maybe he is happy being ferral:confused: But right on for you......congrats on the new editions to your family. How old do you think the kittens are? If they are really really young you may want to check with a vet before you give them a flea bath. I dunno, I might be wrong here, but I think for some reason that some flea baths might be too strong for young kittens. Or maybe thats the flea ointment like Advantage that Im thinking of......*shrugs*

Aww that's wonderful, those kitties are blessed to have found you.

It's so terrible when animals are just treated like trash and dumped, that happened to Branwen.
