Okay, what I wanted to know now is... Is it possible to get surgical implants on the head, beyond the hairline(as in, among hair.) And if it is, should the area be shaved first, etc. I know my questions probably sound noobish, but then... I am rather new to body modification. Please help me out. =^_^=

Very possible, and yes shaving the area first would definately be important. Just like prepping skin for surgery, there should be as low a chance as possible of getting hair into an incision.

Curiosity, what type of implants were you referring to? Silicon or similar sub-dermal (completely under the skin) implants to raise the skin, or transdermal metal implants to have a piece revealed through the top of the head?

Heres both in one picture, past the hairline. (however he's bald of course..)

His subdermals are made of teflon for anyone interested.

And another transdermal pic because Samppa is awesome.

I meant transdermal implants. I plan to have four of them done. I'm getting them specially made so I can attach custom made metal horns to them.
