Question about Personal Growing

Alright I am a newb to weed in general, and I've read a couple guides, ranger's is probably the most in-depth one I have seen here. Here's some background for you guys to give you an idea at what my thought process is. I plan on growing outside (any specific outdoor tips would be helpful) and I am only home for the summer for 3 months starting end of April (this may be a problem).

My first question is, I am not going to be growing a lot of plants, maybe like 10 at the VERY most, so should my growing process be the same as ranger's? Also, should I use seeds I have obtained from good batches, or is it better to buy online?

My second question is since I do not have much time, is it possible to harvest decent buds after 3 months? What is the average time it takes to get a decent harvest size?

My last questions have to do with the process of harvesting, and are probably the most newbish of my questions haha! First, will I be able to tell which parts of the plant I should harvest (like which part is the smokable part)? When drying, do you have to dry indoors, because I live with my parents, and I'd rather avoid bringing it into the house to dry.

ummm. read the grow bible itll tell u everything u need to know. umm id buy seeds offline, so you know that youre gettin strains that are specifically good for outdoor growing..good luck.

dude, just clone, you only need on plant and you just keep cloning, i do it with big bud.... get like 80 oz every 2 months!!!

im useing a closet at a freinds house whose whole family are stoners so they dont mind i ovbuslly havnt got yeild yet but ive don the math and that is justwhat i am expecting (u caght me, i made a little lie) ....and ive sort of come down im defently not high but i still have a few effects... i space every now and then.. i never wass really like compleatly high, that only lasted like a day but for three weeks i was like half baked and now im just really spacy i got baked again yesterday (actually i had too much and greened) ive come down from that fine so i think im ok

 

Its all good my man, just remembered you had a problem about a location.

IMO BigBud is good for yield but not 80 Oz out of a closet. You need alot of room and alot of lights. The clone area is going to be sizeable. A rolling harvest with a ebb & flow table will save you from the tons of soil needed. You should go for a small but potent girl - WW, White Rhino, AK47. With higher quality you will require less quantity.

 

im only goin to be getting 80 oz because i gonna try to get 5 clones flowering at once (its a walk-in closet) and i acatually got big bud because im going to be selling it to raise funds and in the long run get a huge room filled with jah and white widow. thx for the advise

Oh and what is cloning? sorry for the double post.

 

depends on the strain.... for most strains its about 2 months flowering and 2 months vegitating so it would probly take 4 for your first yeild. cloning is when you cut of a pice off your vegitating plant, dip it in a solution and and then plant it in rockwool or a jiffy puck, after a bit of time growing youve repreduced a clone of your original plant.... then you just flower the cone so actually all you need is one plant.
