Politics are politics.. people are people.. we may not like the way things are going in the political front, but where we live is not what is important.. it's how we live and how we treat others that is important. It's what our sprirts need, our eternal growth that makes us who we are. I have found that most people who flame the USA have never lived here and is only talking propaganda. If the USA was such a terrible place then why are thousands of people trying to get into americia everyday.. risking their lives, their childrens lives just to be in the worst country in the world?!?. You should get a column in the local paper - the astrology section. If we are about peace, shouldn't we trying to unite instead of segragate.. Where and how I live, in america is not like what is being said.. I am standing for those ones that think differently than the system, who live off the land and love the land they live on. To be in tune with nature and living with and in it. I do not tak of war, to feed energy into it and prolong it.. I talk of peace for all people and loving one another as brother and sister..as human beings, being human. To condem a people bc of politics, is incompassionate and unloving, not very Zen. Whatever your religious beliefs it dose not matter, bc we are all going to change. The land of milk and honey is where you make it.. I am not my brother's keeper nor are you. I do, however feel inclined to defend my right to live. I am not dirty or fat, I do not hoard or begrudge my brother a meal. I am like many here in america, we love and give, we have feeling and emotions just like everyone else my brother, just like you. WE just want to raise our families and be happy, We tried to bring change about, we fought for a different way, we were out numbered and they had better weapons. Where ever there is over-population there is ware upon the earth.. if so many wouldn't come and trash it out bc they are not from round here and do not care as we do for the earth nwe live on, things would be different.. How are we suppose to support all these people that pour in daily without commerce, your country is asking for it too, to open trade.. it's the heads of the countries that make these dicissions, does your country have a vote on forgien trade.. I just wish, if you have something to say in spacific to say, it would come off better then just flaming a whole country of people just bc they live in a certain place on the globe. Since we all come from the same place and will return to it in our time, souldn't we spend what time we do have on things of a larger score, like fixing ourselves first and when we are perfect and have the knowledge to bestow on everyone else on how we all should and should not live or exist on the planet earth in a perfect way.. that would be nice. If it wasn't for the Spanish guy Christopher Columbous, America wouldn't even exist as it is today. I am pretty sure that during the first world war, America didn't come to help us Brits until 1917. Where were you Yanks, when we needed you the most? Anyway, There is no such thing as an American. Most Americans are foreigners who immigrated from abroad to come to this prosperous land, known back then, as the Land of liberty. Nearly a century later, the Yanks have taken liberties to a new level. But I do like their pepsi, their large fries and the influence they have over in the UK. I also like the South Americans. Those panpipes are quite sweet and relaxing. I love bagels, send me some through the post.
As far as I'm concerned, the military bases can fuck right off, and they can stop demanding that we extradite people to the US for trial for no real reason. Oh and stop using us as a refuel point for torture trips. I don't hate Americans, well, I don't hate a lot of Americans. I hate the recent American mentality (amongst it's government and security services and such) that it's God's gift to the world and anyone who says otherwise is just hiding nukes.
America is alright I suppose. Long high ways that make a man feel like he is truly alone in the wilderness. Canada. A favourite scapegoat. The dollar, each president is respected highly or lowly, depending on how much the dollar is worth. Americans are responsible for many blockbuster movies. It is difficult to say to a Yank, "Go home". Simply because we have become a little America. We are like the egg of America.
the UK don't really suck up to the USA it's just 2 of the most powerful and influencial countries that do everyhitng together lol its like there best mates but to be fair they arn't all that bad....well actually i live in the UK and i dont really like neither they both say they are the land of the free and we all have freedom but its all just total bullcrap but you cant judge the people because of the people who run the country dont forget the USA has given us many wonderful things.... like fantastic music and erm no no thats it lol
We have some myths too. Like the streets of Peterborough is paved in gold. The street furniture is like a sweet cushion. There is more opportunity, Britain is wonderful. But when the Poles and general immigrants get here. They usually get a shock of their lives. We have a lot of Yanks here. They like leiscter Square for the red carpet events. Tom Cruise, The Rock, Tom Hanks and John Malchovitz have all come to our shores. It is amazing that the first thing you see in Britain, if you come by ferry into Dover. A horrid craggy white cliff. Pesky seagulls that fly high above, and a horrible concrete plaza. But if you come into Liverpool, it is the Liver buildings.If you come into Portsmouth, its the Spinaky Tower. Also the giant lump, known as Isle of Wight.

well i think we should make all americans wear 10gallon hats, as for american millitary bases in britian. why are they even here? what public service do the american public servants provide britain as a whole? we have our own army and so another countrys army on our turf seems un-nessisary to me. as for the entire bouldercrap that has been sprouting including the following :- horoscope woman, seaguls, 10gallon hats and polish people, we all know they dont exist just like a pure blooded American, last i heared they gots killed by general custard also he was killed-ed got shot in the crumpet if i remember incorrectly. i fail to see how any of this even entered this topic, ofcourse my contributions were purley diversionary to basicly hit you side blind you and break down your actual emotion about the topic and divert it to the fact that seaguls really do exist and yes your realy did see one that time and finally yes it did poo on that womans baby while being pushed in a pram.
