I bought some gigantic (6") fresh poppy pods from ebay, says they're complete with the seeds inside, never opened. Does this mean they'll be full of the latex?
When i got them mine didnt have anything inside of them except the seeds, i think the little bit of latex (opium) in each pod drys into the walls of the pod and thats why we use a coffee grinder and a loose-leaf/herbal tea infuser pot thingy that i use to make an infusion of any herb..
My question: I make the pst with pretty decent effects. How do pst & pods compare with each other? Never bought the pods.
Yes let us advertise where we buy them and why we use them so they can shut it down and thereby causing horrible WD for alota peope w00t! And no they will not be full of latex cuz before they arrive they will have dried out and you can only get the latex from a plant that is alive or one that has been very recently chopped off, look at the time of year, they are not fresh pods, what they probably meant was they are not sprayed or rotten or moldy, it would be impossible to get you fresh pods now, look at the time of year its February, the only way they could get fresh pods was if they imported them(and they wouldn't be fresh by the time they sent them to you anyways, 2x international shipping), or grew them indoors and I doubt they could get many of them from an indoors operation and I doubt they would sell them on ebay if it was an indoor grow. And! ontop of this you are not even allowed to ship any kind of fresh plant material so no they will not have any latex in them, just extract the goodies and make some PT and slowly (around 80C boil off the water until u have raw gum. also don't use the stems because they contain very little goodies and just make them raw product very harsh/nasty to use
pods contain much more goodies than seeds, around $18 for two very strong servings, also don't bother using the seeds, they may contain some goodies but very little and do more harm than good when smoking it, so take the pod and empty the seeds (for PST when u save enough up) or just toss them
Finally found the right weight of seeds to use: (Badia brand), 8-70 gram bottles, and 1/4 cup of lemon juice. Intense "opiation" at 45 minutes. C'mon Twizz; I'm waiting impatiently for your results on the pods.
wat my pod experiences don't count :-( , i got 25 medium turkish pods for $19 = 3strong doses or 2 really strong doses w a large tolerance

I wasn't able to buy em. I thought I had the money in my bank account but didn't. Then, they slapped me with a $35 Non-sufficient funds fee.
how much you try to buy lol if they charged u $35 thats more than enough for it could get like 50pods
yeah I was buying like 9 HUGE ones, the size of tennisballs (maybe a little bit bigger) and it came with a bonus 5 I think. Next time I buy (Friday) I'm just going to grab like 60+ of the turkish medium-size.
WELL they're finally coming in. The payments cleared yesterday, so I'm going to be getting 50 medium turkish pods, and 9 giganthemum pods. It cost me about $90 bucks in total, but with all the decorating and arts&crafts that I will do with these, I think it is worth it.
Guitar...it's been a while since you asked, and you've still yet to get a proper response. So, here goes: When you see folks referring to "pods", they are talking about buying the seed pods (usually dried) of the opium poppy. They are legal to buy and sell (in the U.S., at least) and are usually marketed to folks that use them in floral arrangements. These dried pods do contain a bit of opiates and related alkaloids in them...enough for folks to grind up and make a nice (yeh...tastes GREAT) drink/tea that will getcha opied up. This is what folks "score" or slash, and white latex will seep out and dry to a dark brown/black color. That dried out stuff is raw opium.
