Alabama Rainbow Gathering 2008

hey brothers & sisters, I was just wondering if anyone knew where the Alabama Rainbow Family Gathering was gonna be held this year.

The talk after Ocala is in the panhandle near Tallahasse for March1-14. Talladega is whenever... another North Georgia gathering would be nice. There are several beautiful sites...

 

so, the Alabama gathering will be in Talladega? do you know which month?

the gathering is in march, I'm in alabama a little early and cant seem to find any information on holding camps or local family. could someone point me in the right direction because this babylon shit is really stressing me out.

 

So yeah where in Taladaga is the gathering because im on my way.
Im with Ashley and Chase right now we left Langerado yesterday

Have your driver's license and insurance card handy. They are doing a road block safety check a 1/2 mile ahead of the posted campsite. I couldn't get past them in order to try to meet "family." Please send me a message if there is a way to meet up!

Me and my roomie are packing up the house, and putting some stuff in storage, We'll be heading to Alabama on monday night or tuesday morning, I hope all is well, and I look forward to seeing some family, I've missed the rainbow these last several years , I let myself get stuck in the city, and I've been away from home for far too long. I hope everything is going well in Bama, and the LEOs are letting people through. If anyone has any new news, please post what you can. Myself, my drums, hugs, bowl, spoon and bellybutton will be there soon!

 

No roadblocks this evening although there were forst ranger patrols. I finally made it to the camp and met a lot of really wonderful family. About 100 kids are camping across the hills in the area. The LEOs do seem OK with it, although they are patrolling heavily.

 

well the facts are that they local sheriffs are the ones promoting the road blocks.they have been primarily on the weekends.there of course leos involved because the sheriffs aren't alowed to do such things without an leo escort.there is one prick nimt leo out there as well.the rest of the leo's aren't really into harrasing us.they are actually out there every monday picking up trash from the front gate!front gate has been exemplaryhere this year except for one incident.which im in town making up for as we speak.helping a young sister that was treated poorly by a drunk sister who hadn't been drunk in 2 yrs....ah well can't allways be perfect even we try our best to be the change that we wanted to see....
