which ear is gay

this probly sounds really imature but which ear does it mean you are gay if you have it pierced because i am thinking about getting it done and dont wanna be 'missunderstood' by any one.

 

i never understood this thing about the ear being gay or whatever. i do not think it makes a difference.

i know i lost one of my tunnels and now i only have one in my right ear and that doesnt look gay, but it might be, no ones said anything.... but who knows......

When I got my ear pierced, I had the same question. The ear piercer told me that when one ear was done, it was the left ear. Neither of us knew what the "code" was, but I went with the majority.

Don't worry about it. Being hit on is a compliment. Even if you don't swing that way..usually.

 

or get both of them done. thats what i did. ^^

 

it's generally the right ear that is considered gay, but most gay guys i know with pierced ears have both of them pierced.
i wouldn't get my panties in a bunch about it, unless you're worried what a bunch of fifth graders think about your sexuality.

Personally, I feel that getting just one ear pierced is really outdated and ugly... ! I'd opt for both. And with nipples who the fuck cares but I think one-sided of nipple piercings are dumb too.

I mean I know a gay guy who has all his piercings on the left ear and only one on the right.

I'm a straight guy and I've had more piercings on the right ear than on the left ear.

 

I've only got one piercing, my left ear.

I think that was the acceptable ear for men in 1973 when I did it. (Did it myself with a sewing needle - none of that girlie stuff at the mall). It was more of a "pirate" statement than anything else and went with the long hair.

Oh, I was living with a man in '73, so it wasn't like I was hiding being gay, but it seemed most men (very few actually) with piercings had it in their left ear. I don't recall seeing any man with both ears pierced in '73 in New Orleans.

 

meh.. get piercings on whatever ear you want, fuck anyone who wants to judge you're decision (not in the literal sense)

I have mine in my left ear.
For some reason, it seems more comfortable there.

Just makes sense. Easy to play with and such.
