I used to post here quite frequently, under the name shake3434 I believe, anyway just saying hello to anyone who is still around and remembers that. I took mushrooms last night. Nothign special with the trip, except for throwing up which I have never done on mushrooms, anyone who has can agree thats a quite unagreeable experience. I've always believed that you get something out of every trip, good and bad, this leads me to the point of the post. Finally, right? I suffered a pretty bad concussion last friday and was still heavily feeling the ill effects last night, as well as a virus that I couldn't kick. Not the best idea to eat shrooms sick and not in the best of conditions, I know, but I felt the desire and only trip 2-3 times a year, if that, so when I get that desire I just do it. Anyway, when i woke up this morning I felt great. This struck me as really strange because the night before i was vomiting, for days even before eating the shrooms from the virus and had horrible headaches and disorientation from the concussion, but woke up with no concussed or viral symptoms. I've been waiting all day for the symptoms from one or the other to return but nothing, I cant complain obviously. I'm not trying to say the mushrooms healed me or anything like that it's just really interesting the condition i went to sleep in vs. how great I feel now. Anyway, hello to anyone who cares, I may or may not start posting here again, just thought I'd share.
Mushrooms are a very mystical drug. You never know what exactly you are going to get from them and what knowledge you'll gain while on them. I do think they have some what of healing powers. I myself had a cold and sinus problems before I took some while on them and even afterwards the effects went away. But I have also had bad trips- which suck but like you said you got to learn from even the bad. Which I could tell you some CRAZY stories about what I have experienced. I too have vomited from taking them and must say it was one of the worst experiences..... it makes me sick just thinking about it. Speaking of shrooms, I had a really strong flashback feeling today, like I had really strong tracers that came all of a sudden during my math class. I love/ hate those feelings, because they come up all of a sudden and out of nowhere. I usually get them when I'm really high but I've started getting them when I'm sober. But anyways enough rambling.
I know what you mean driving for a long time down the interstate usually brings on the tracers (usually I'm stoned off my ass b/c I hate driving sober). I love tracers though its amusing at times.
