i hate grey goose, but i dislike most vodka. still, grey goose, in my opinion, is only worth so much due to the image. i find a number of smoother, more drinkable vodkas are a lot cheaper (for instance gordons, seagrams, and tanqueray sterling)
Just tried it. It's a lot smoother than Absolut, but the flavor by itself doesn't do it for me. I threw in some tonic, and it tastes a lot better. I didn't see any Ketel One at the liquor store. I just walked next door to get some Mountain Dew, and I figured I'd give GG a try on St. Patty's.
if you're looking for liquor on st patricks day i dont see how you can do better than irish whiskey.... i only got kilbeggan, but still
Grey Goose is my personal drink of choice. Mix it with Hypnotiq and it makes Bruce Banner. Then again you can always make a screw driver or just on the rocks. I take it stright out of the bottle.
Grey Goose is just trendy shit with lots of advertising behind it. If you want the good stuff, aim towards the stuff from Russia. I like Ruski. Grey Goose isn't bad vodka, but it's nothing special, either. Then again, for the most part, vodka is vodka.
i know nothing about grey goose. since i never drink it straight, most times i go for the cheapest vodka and mix until i can't taste it. i love some good scotch, though.
Rat, have you actually found some authentic Russian vodka in the states that doesn't break your wallet? Most vodkas like Stoli are made in Latvia. I haven't heard of Ruski, though.
my dad has loads of friends all over the place. i should probably have him get me something. i've never had russian vodka. i bet it'd be really good.
skol. i'm drinking skol right now and feeling much better about everything in general. dave sent me a picture of the cutest english bulldog pit mix ever.
Wikipedia is usually wrong. Check the label on the back of a Stoli bottle. It'll say distilled in Latvia.
