Okay. Well, I don't really grow weed. Like I'm not serious or anything about it, we just picked some seeds out of some mids and were like "hehe let's plant them and see if they grow." And they did grow! So now I have like three plants that are about 11 inches high and have 7 sets of leaves, not including the first seed leaves things. The thing is, every set of leaves is two leaves with three leaflets on them (you know what I mean?) and aren't the leaves supposed to have like 7 or 9 leaflets, or whatever? Sorry that I don't have good technical terms here, but I'm tryig really hard to explain this! So, I'm wondering what this means, and if anyone could tell me that would be sweet! Thanks!

If you are referring to the fan leaf "fingers" they increase in number as the plant matures.

I guess I could journal...ha, my first weed babies! I named them and I love them so I hope they're all female because I'm quite attached! But Ninfan (by the way, I love NIN) what do you mean by start flowering them? I am seriously clueless here on the art of weed growing! And yes BudBill, I think I mean fingers. I heard that they were get more as they grew, so I guess I was just expecting them by the 7th set of leaves.

If you do not know what 12/12 means then you are not prepared. There is a minimal amount of "reading" that needs to be done. In the long run you will understand. There are some excellent materials here: http://www.mjguide.com/

If they have three (fingers) at seven nodes, they are either one of the sativas, or they are in stress.

I've grown some very good bud from stressed sativas, are they warm enough? Sativas like the warmer climes.

post some pics, give us a better idea of how we might help:>)

We do the same for our bagseeds since we don't know what strain we give 'em fem names to identify them after harvest.

As in Shirly gives us the giggles, while Nancy releives our backache, etc.>D
