Just left Talladega for a day trip to find family- spent the day with some cool kids! They're lonely... get out there family!!! I'll be back out next Friday to Monday too. Here's how to find 'em- -get off of I-20 at the exit 199 and head toward Heflin on Hwy. 9 (north for about a mile). -turn Rt. onto 78 East (stay on it for about a mile -turn left at the Texaco (it's on your right)- you're staying on 78 east, it just turns off to the left -follow this section of 78 East for 7.1 miles and then turn left onto Rt. 61 (there's a blue fire station on your right where you're turning- it's called Cane Creek F.S.) -follow 61 for 8 miles exactly and the kids are on the right (the first 7.5 miles is paved and the last 1/2 mile is gravel). lovin' you- see ya there- & LEO's don't mind us at that location
Lousy time of year to go camping in that part of the country, severe thunderstorm and toronado season. Y'all have fun.

Read my post about Talladega and WelcomeHere. I couldn't get to the campsite to meet "family." The road was blocked by Forest Rangers.
Packing up the house and putting stuff in storage today and tomorrow, Monday night or tuesday morning my roomie and I are headed that way. I hope The LEOs are letting people through, or we will be hating life. If anyone has fresh news from the site, please post it or PM me if you want. I've been stuck in the city for far too long, and I need to go Home! I miss the sound of my Family laughing in the woods, and a nice loud "WE LOOOOOVE YOUUUU!!!" in the middle of the night traveling from camp to camp. I hope to see you all out there by the middle of the week at the latest, The Lizard Lounge is coming!! (with zuzus!!)
LEOs I cant belive the LEOs still are giving family a hard time at that gathering. Back in 99 We went there to stard seed camp. It was great the locals were providing water and donated supplies and money. We had a couple of nice kitchens set up and the gathering was on. Well the LEOs came in and told us all to leave by 7am the next day or we would all be arrested. Doc decided we would go to town and get a hotel and wait we told everyone it would be best if most of us cleared out and a couple stayed behind to face the law and see what happened. Some didnt leave and they came in with a patty wagon tour through kitchens tied a pregnant sister to a tree in fire ants and arrested a bunch of family. If your going to that gathering be very very careful I dont want to see any of my family hurt. Be safe and smart Love you all Geni
MAde it out to Talladega this evening. Over 100 kids were there. A Camp was a bit roudy at times, but the kitchen there was really good and the people greeted me the way family should. I went back into town with Savage, did some shopping and brought food back for 3 of the kitchens. The upper kitchen has built an amazing oven into the hillside and baked an awesome chocolate cake! These kids have some amazing talents. Other than the road blocks with the safety checks, the LEOs do seem OK with the family camping there. They do patrol regularly though. Some really warm and friendly people there. Y'all need to come on out. I was promised that the sweat lodge they are building would be finished by this weekend. I'm certainly going back to sweat. regards, "Rant"
I wana be there but like I have said A-Camp is a hard act to follow. They are trying and I did my best a Ocala to share some good Acamp enegery. I cant count the number of times I had to be the one yelling at those in the old days to chill out. Jumping in frount of cars beating up family because of dread locks or whatever. But we are the bounchers and we keep some very bad people from going down to rainbow land. So love your acamp family and we all act a fool at times. Hang in there Geni o yea Fyou
Lovin you Geni!!!A-Camp has changed over the years. There are very few tattoos out there. We are trying to teach our children well, as the prophecy goes. This year at Ocala I was impressed by the new front gate. There was only a few incedents and they were handled. The new kids on the road who continue to share the prophecy of "The Rainbow Warriors" and continue the tradion of a gatherings that takes place in a different state or region are the future. We must support them and assist them any way we can. We are all "WARRIORS OF THE RAINBOW"
