your not on the list because i didn't realise you where a member here until you answered my thread, thanks for bringing it to my attention S
"thanks for bringing it to my attention" Don't mention it - annoyances bring things to attention all the time.
Don't hit me too hard. Why, well I will try and give you an intellegent answer. I am terrible with politics. I like Bush. I like what he stands for as a person. I like the way he treats his wife. (thats the personal side of Bush I like). I think he did the best he could regarding 9/11. He was only in office for 8 months when the world changed forever. I am terrified if Kerry gets into office. I think we will see more terror attacks and the ones we see will be much closer to home. I am not convinced he could do the job. I don't care for his wife. I think she is too lippy for the postition she is about to be in. I don't want to judge her however for this position you can't call people scumbags. Now, I guess you could call me independent. I was a Clinton supporter when he was in office, though I didn't support his personal life, however that should of remained personal. As President I thought our Country was in great shape. I didn't want Bush in office. Then he became President and I liked him. It is possible if Kerry is President I will like him too. I am trying to keep an open mind if that happens. These are just my opinions. If you have an opinion you would like to share about this I would be happy to hear it. If you don't want to post it here, pm me. I look at this two ways. You could tell me something I don't know, which is highly possible and You could tell me something to help me make a clearer decsion. That I appreciate.
Your right to feel that way. A lot of people say what they like and do what they feel all the time. Kinda scary when some don't put limits on themselves. I say this about people in general, not refering to these two who I know nothing about. I have an Aunt who practices witchcraft. Sometimes her and I would talk about it. I don't practice it however I always found what she had to tell me fascinating. I used to live in Massachusettes. I went to Salem and loved it. There is a witch there, amoung many, whose name is Lori Cabbot. She is fascinating. There is an internet site about her somewhere. Long time ago someone wanted to read my palms and show me my cards. I was petrified. I thought God would be mad at me so I didn't do it. Hey, I'm a nut. Do you read cards, palms? Is that too personal?
The threat of more terror attacks at home is pure Cheney propaganda. It's their tactic to scare Americans into voting for Bush. When you think about it, it dosnt even make sense. How would a different president cause more attacks? I think Bush dived into this war headlong without thinking about the consequences. We have over 1,000 of our men dead, and over 14,000 Iraqian civilians dead. We attacked Iraq with Bush's assumption that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. What was found was nothing that we had expected. People expected nuclear weapons and that sorts, all that was really found was some gas, if that. I just don't like the fact we're at war for a reason that is not real clear to anyone. I also don't like that Bush decided to jump in and take over Iraq without the UNs consent. We had no evidence and we based a war on assumptions. We can't go around waging war on every country we don't like. It dosnt work that way... Anyways, I'm too tired right now to really make sense, but you get the picture....
the post I ment was on this thread and youve answered it. cabbot wrote 'power of th witch' and is a fascnating author, theres nothing you can ask me which is too personnal ive read tarot for ten years, ive never read palms S
I didn't say that but I feel more secure about the terror threats with Bush in office. It's possible we will have more with him in office. As far as the war goes. I hear what your saying however I have different opinions about this. I don't want to argue either and I do get what your saying. Actually I appreciate what you had to say. The war probably would of effected me more if I had someone I know and/or love over there fighting. There will be casualties with war. I am not heartless about this however my heart is not over there so I view it a lil' differently. I look at those men and women trying to protect my country and trying to get the bad guys out so theirs will be a better country. Granted some are being killed and that is truly horrible. BUT what about those men and women going around throwing bombs and killing innocent men, women, & children. They have to STOP!!!! Those people are not even human to me. They are machines. Those people do not deserve to run their Country. People are terrified and live in fear every single day. Day in and day out. That is no way to live. Not that I know him personally but I don't think Bush wanted the war to go on for as long as it has or for the deaths that have happened to our soldiers. He wants to make freedom possible for both sides. Okay, so we have only found a lil' bit over there, not like what we thought HOWEVER we did find Sadam. Now we need to find Osama. We have also found a lot of those horrible people that have been apart of taking our freedom away from us. To me this sounds like what we have been searching for. Eliminating those that are going to make our life a living hell if they walk the streets. Don't feel as though your argueing. I am trying to sound intellegent with my answers. I am not good at explaining myself about my views on politics.
My husband always says I have the ability to say too much. lol He is right. I know he means it in the nicest way. lol
