Is your sperm thick and gooey or thin and runny or somewhere in between?

Thick sperm is usually nearly opaque and very white in color. It is not ejaculated far from the penis and forms dense mounds when it lands. It is sticky and will form long strands when pulled apart.

Runny sperm is much more transparent and milky in color. Because it is less dense it can be ejaculated a farther distance and forms liquid-like ribbons or pools when it lands. It is much less tacky.

I think the thickness & colour depend on the actual sperm levels contained within the semen as I find the consistency seems to vary on several things.

1. Standard, first masturbation of the day, is usually quite thick, with little, if any, real power behind the ejacultion.

2. Subsequent mastubations of the day, when the content is primarily seminal fluid, rather than actual sperm, then the consistency is far more liquid, clearer, and with increasing force.

3. The more aroused I am, particularly with a partner, affects the amount of semenal fluid released, although the amount of sperm remains consistent which, of course, also affects the clarity & the release force.

This raises another little question of curiosity, primarily aimed at vasectomised men, but also to anyone who has had experience of being with anyone who has had a vasectomy who would be in a position to know.

I know that vasectomised men continue to ejaculate semen, but obviously not containing any sperm within it, so does this affect the colour & consistency of your ejaculate?
